To those whose fathers are no longer with you, .I dread the day I get the call.
I hope those who have a dad still alive who deserves it,will think of those who wish thier father was still here and remember to tell your father what he means to you. My dad is 83,still healthy and active. He lives in a state far from me. I am still his Daddy's girl at 54. I write him a poem each holiday and email it to him. I gave up the store gifts when I was about 22. Started doing things like, his laundry or a dinner out my treat. Wrote a tribute to him and it hangs in his home office. So many gifts we can give and they don't all cost $. I only wish I could have through the yrs. bought my dad a sailboat. He always wanted 1 but never bought for himself. I never have been in a position to have done that, but that is 1 that $ can buy that would be thoughtful and appreciated.
To any fathers out there in forums, I wish you HAPPY FATHERS DAY.
A card...he has everything he could possibly want. I just wish I'd remember these holidays early enough to send the card in time. It was so much easier before they moved 10 years ago.

Hey girl always good to see you here You know that e-mail cards were thought off for people who procrastinate Saved me many an occasion I forgot till day before. Or maybe your Dad has no computer?
I bought some seeds to try to plant up his garden with, and got him some Miller Beer because that's the kind of beer he sent me out for last time he sent me out for beer. Of course, I drank up all his vodka! I might make him food tomorrow morning too. We'll see.
I almost forgot what I gave my dad. Had to think a minute. It was some Miller beer. He loved it. I don't go for beer so it was definitely all for him and none for me. I would go for beer if it had 3 times the alcohol and didn't look like whiz.
