RE: Where do they go?

I think some people might be to shy, some probably don't want to be involved in the drama, some may take the stand of "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all", some may be chicken and some are just flat NOSEY! LOL!

RE: How easy it for you to trust some1

I have learned that trusting people is one of the hardest things there is in life. Past experience has ruined that for me....it sucks to be untrusting, but Ive gotten to the point that I could really care less anymore....trust is earned, not to be taken for granted.

RE: Is There Really A God?

WHEW! Everytime this subject is brought up this place gets NUTS! Hey, I believe in God, it was something instilled in me as a young a child and I have never second guessed it because I have experienced God's love and grace in my life even though I was FAR from deserving it...

Now, I wish that sometimes in here, we could all agree to disagree, we are ALL adults here and have our own opinions and ideas. Most of us live in America and we have the freedom of speach and we all have our own ideas and opinions as well as beliefs. Why belittle one another and be hurtful because of the beliefs and ideas others hold? Is everyone elses feelings, ideas, convictions and beliefs not as important as the next persons? We are ALL perfectly imperfect in our own way! Be thankful for it!

RE: Age differences

So what are you saying buzzer? You care more about what other people think that what you feel?

RE: The only limit ...

I agree, Loyalty and faithfulness are part of the foundation for a great relationship, along with trust and communication. Aside from the lack of one of the four previously listed, I HATE and will NOT be with someone who demands I "change" anything about myself! That includes bit is not limited to looks and/or the way I am as a person in whole!

RE: A 25 man just wanting to meet some people.

Oh hell no you DID NOT just say that women are to shallow a creature to fall for honesty and faith! LOL!!! What the heck is that all about? Not ALL women are that way and look who's talking "Mr. If you wanna chat with any ladies....." Like that comment was rude and little shallow in and of itself! Now, that being said, I am a WOMAN, but never claimed to be a "lady", what fun is that? Hehehe.... "Well behaved women rarely make history."

Good luck in your search!
Cheers,

RE: The Irish

Ahhhh....being that my family is Scottish, we often get confused for Irish, however, we Scott's tend to be a bit more rowdy, rude, crude and socially unecceptable than the Irish! LOL! Just kidding! Gotta love the Irish! You guys are very well respected and admired here accross the pond! Cheers!

Here's a funny saying that I saw on a t-shirt at the North Texas Scottish Festival and Highland games...

"You can kiss an Irishman, but it's the Scotsman you wanna take home!"

RE: Ghosts

YEAH!!! Whaaahooo!! I love ghostie stories! My Grandparents and Great Grandparents home (now my Aunt's house) are both haunted....

In my Grandparents house has several that do thier own little things to let you know they are "there". One bangs along the outside of the house just under the kitchen window, one goes around unlocking all the doors and opening all the windows in the night. My Grandma has 9 cats and they all sit and "look" at something and act as though they are being pet and loved on, purring all the while. My Grandpa has an office that shares a wall with the livingroom, well, we can be sitting in the livingroom and see the wall shaking and hear what sounds like furniture being thrown around the room. When you walk in the room during one of these "episodes", all you can feel is a cool breeze brush by you and see a few papers rustle. The phone in the hallway picks up and hangs in the air by itself! One eerie evening my aunt was getting ready for the Friday night football game and felt as if someone was watching her. When she looked in the mirror to see if there was someone behind her, there was the outline of a man standing in the doorway of her bedroom watching her. That same night after the game her boyfriend got home before she did, he had stopped and gotten a paper, laid it on the kitchen table, taken his cleats off and sat them next to the chair and went for a quick shower. Upon returning to the kitchen he discovered that the paper was gone, I mean REALLY gone, it had simply vanished and his cleats were sitting in the kitchen sink with the water running on top of them. He was still the only one home!

My Great Grandparents immigrated here from Scotland and being that they had little money they couldn't afford much as far as buying a new home. At the time, they were building a new freeway through the city and had cleared out several miles of older homes. Now, if you had the means to move the homes, then you could get a really great deal on one of them, so they bought five acres in the country and went into towm to pick a house. When my Great Grandmother finaly found the one she wanted, they found that there were three dead homeless men inside (it was the dead of winter). One of the men was in the bathtub, now this was no ordinary bathtub, this was one of those HUGE claw foot tubs that weights a ton! Anyway, after they got the house to thier land they began to remodel the bathroom. It came time to replace the flooring so my Great Grandfather and three other grown men had to move the tub outside into the yard. After the floor was finished they all had to take it back into the bathroom and reset it and so forth and so on. Now, a couple of nights later there was a thunderstorm and alot of comotion and noises outside and inside both. That following morning they awoke to find the bathtub that had taken FOUR grown men to move, was now out in the pature tuned upside down. Needless to say, it stayed there!

Anyway, that's just a few! Gotta love it!
