Ah cool. :) Shure there might be a bitta interest gained through-out the week between now and then.... :) Was gonna say somewhere with a bitta live music would be good, but then don't want to go somewhere where people don't like loud music lol. :D

That's okay cosy. :) I think my Thread has gone wayyyyyyyyy down the page anyway lol! Well I suggested next weekend as it's a long weekend and felt people would be free for some part of the weekend? What are people's thoughts?! We could wrangle a few together for a few drinks perhaps anyway if folk are about? Snow I can't remember what happened the last time, I think the Host couldn't attend or something, but it's not for me to speculate. But rather than an "official hosting Event," I'm just suggesting as impromptu for a quick get-to-know Meet-up. Rather than, weeks of planning crap, and then if someone can't show up for whatever reason, it goes tit$-up!! Soooo, that's kinda way I just suggested for next weekend with it being a long oule weekend. :)

Greensleeves I'm just a wee quiet one, you'd barely notice me in a room.

Meet-Up For Drinks Next Week - March 30th / 31st; Easter Weekend! :)

Hi Everyone!

Not sure if I'm even putting this Thread in the right place, but will go with it for now, and hopefully it can be moved if not. I don't usually frequent the Forums on this Site, but wander about an odd time here and there to see what's on and what's happening.

I fancy a road-trip next weekend, and was wondering if there was any Night Out planned around the Country.... But alas there seems to be nothing on, (unless there's loads of plans afoot and I'm looking in the completely wrong Forum lol!! ) That is quite possible too!

Anyway, just wanted to check or gauge interest or whatever ya want to call it, if anyone would be up for meeting up for a few drinks next weekend? And maybe some too!

I'm from Galway myself, it doesn't have to be Galway, although a night out in Galway City would be nice!! Maybe somewhere in the West or midlands perhaps?

Any / all civil/respectful/polite thoughts / ideas / suggestions welcome and appreciated! Have absolutely no specifics yet as to location / time etc., am relatively easy-going / open at the minute. I'm just writing this Post to see and find out interest-levels for a Meet-Up next Weekend 30th / 31st March if folk are footloose and fancy-free .... ;) That's when the fun starts!! Hehe!

I am from Galway but have only been out in Dublin an odd time. Might be interested in coming along to this, somewhere different for a change! Don't think I've been to a C.S. Event before. If it's on the weekend of 23rd/24th November I should be free, will keep an eye on this Thread in the mean-time! :)

Hoping to find somewhere reasonable to stay for the night ..... Had pretty much assumed that I'd get a room for a decent €60-70-ish and even though there seems to be lots of Hotels they're all pretty expensive! :( So I think what I might do is go to Kilkenny again another time and go down for the whole weekend. That's what I'm thinking. So if I'm not there, have a great night folks.
