im planning on the 2 week or last weekend if there a few up for getting together.
iv yet to make it to one of the meets it just never seems to work for me
im just putting it out there to see if ye lads and lassies fancy it..

Could be bad timing dreamer, there is a meet in Dublin in mid September, doubt if anyone will go to two of them. Also I think the only place where a meet could be successful anymore is Dublin, unfortunate but true. Even Cork can't get enough regulars to attend and make a meet a success.
ahh well its out there for any locals that are up for it..

Was at lisdoonvarna last year, impossible to get accommodation unless you book months in advance, & the pubs are jam packed morning noon & night, so would be hard to get a spot for a crowd. Besides theres so much talent there (auld farmers with toupees , gummy smiles and a look of hope/desperation on their faces) it would be like bringing apples into an orchard! Nice idea tho 
well I managed to book hotel with my friends on Thursday last, and yes there may be farmers there but sure there all ages.. its a bit of craic and entertainment. iv yet to meet someone that has not enjoyed the festival..
at the end of the day its what ever your into...

I didn't pay 150 or 200 per night ... for 2 nights stay and breakfast was 180, all together. booked moths ago. now all full up. even B&B was 200 for 2 nights. Over the top!!!

it is a great festival, I have slept in a car a few times as I couldn't get accommodation the night would be so good I didn't mind. felt like I was camping haha

Friday the 13th and the 14th, It's about 2 hours drive from me, My Mate told me about the place. Also great place to meet new people, and I saw the film.
