I stopped off in lisdoon when the batchelor festival, or whatever it's called, was on. Oh holy mother of divine jaysis it was teeming with bogmen you wouldn't see on the Ballymagash Urban District Council. We (I was with a woman) went into the hotel there and it was mega-creepy. Old dudes with you 'agricultural' girls, auld wans with young boggers and tinkers being lifted out by porky barmen. We got out of Dodge as quick as possible. I couldn't imagine what it turned into when the sun went down. I mean, some of them already had hair on the backs of their hands and faces.... and that was just the women.
