Thanks for the post . Howver the solution cannont be through armed conflicts .the very approach itself is wrong . You have terrorist hidden in a densly populated villages then what on the earth can justify killing of them by carpet bombing ? If you cannot isolate your target then use other ways tofind the militants out . What is the difference between Taliban and your goverment . Taliban is targetting the goverment interests and US targets inside a civil socity and kill urban people in that process .the whole world comdemn them for that , cant you just say it was just collateral damage ? including ur world tower bombing ? .Is killing and counter killing is going to resolve this issu ? . if you seed bomb will it bloom as peace ? .You can ever ever eleminate Taliban by this . Taliban is not terrorism, its becoem as social physic in Pakistan . Millions of Pakistanis support it . they all want you to be out of their country . Taliban is fighting a war with US not with Pakistanis , but poor people become the target as collaterl damage . we need to find a political solution than a milatary solution for this.
You do need to do your research, you are way of the mark here....and you need to get your facts right
firstly..i suppose you think that blowing up a university, folk doing their daily shopping at the market and people on a bus going to a wedding is the Taliban targeting government interest...
Secondly...millions do not support the Taliban...the majority of the public are behind the army because they are quiet happy with their liberal islamic society and don't want to be dragged back into the dark ages...as far as most pakistani are concerned these millitants/talibans or whatever you want to call them are worse than animals...Islam is a peaceful religion
thirdly...hundreds of letters written and signed by the head of the pakistani army, General Ashfaq Kayani were dropped into Waziristan and addressed to the good people of the Mehsud tribe, there are three main tribes in this area.. the Mehsud tribe being the biggest and making up roughly 60% of the population....the aim of the letter was to win the hearts of this tribe as they have had associations with the talibans and to remind them of their loyalty to pakistan...
...yes cos Waziristan is part of Pakistan (you mentioned earlier that i was independent), if it was independent it would be the Republic of Waziristan wouldn't it??? it is an autonomous region, not a separate state !!!
and yes there is massive anti-americanism there based in a lack of trust, as we all know very well the States have not always acted with clear motives or intentions...
and..as an elder of a tribe in the Swat Valley said, we had no alternative but to collaborate with the Taliban because we feared for our lives, i advise you to read about their brutal rule in this territory...
and lastly if the Taliban prevail in Pakistan and take control do you really want to see these guys in possession of a nuclear bomb ???
You are against killing and war ...so am i, and i believe that nearly every human being on this planet is too, but tell me how can you deal with asn organization that sends out suicide bombers to further their cause...In the words of Omar, Osama Bin Laden"s son, he said the day that his father invited him and his brothers to sign up as a suicide bomber he knew that his father hated his enemies more than he loved his son.

Well this woman i know very well, she is 50, is getting married to this guy half her age and they are incredibly happy with each other and soooooo compatible and well suited..so at the end of the day what does it matter if the relationshio works well for the two people that are in it, i guess that is what is important. Sure she told me that in the beginning she did her head in a bit about the age gap but it kind of faded away...the more they got to know each other and fell in love the less it mattered.
The age difference between the two of you is the same as a friend of mine and her guy....she met him when she was 56 and he was 40...they have been together 5 or 6 years now and are so happy...she says it is the best relationship she has ever had....so don't let a little thing like a number put you off....
If you feel that it is his shyness holding him back and maybe fear of being rejected by you....why don't you invite him over to your place for dinner....create a condusive ambience and see where it leads.....if he's still slow on the uptake/shy/reserved etc....just tell him how you feel...no point in wasting more time and possibly missing out on something worthwhile living.
