It sure depends. Some people are more mature than their years, some are not. I have dated older and younger women, and would like to think everybody is different. Thats what makes dating so "interesting".

I'd prefered not more than 3-4 years, but all the time this gap for me is around 10-15 yrs.

This thread is very timely for me.

I met someone on here who I like a lot but he is 25 years younger than me. That's too much of a difference.blues

Well this woman i know very well, she is 50, is getting married to this guy half her age and they are incredibly happy with each other and soooooo compatible and well suited..so at the end of the day what does it matter if the relationshio works well for the two people that are in it, i guess that is
what is important. Sure she told me that in the beginning she did her head in a bit about the age gap but it kind of faded away...the more they got to know each other and fell in love the less it mattered.

hope this helps comfort

In my opinion the older you get the bigger the age gap gets for many of us! I like the gap to be not larger than 10-15 years.

My Parents were 18.5 yrs apart, (Father Elder). My Best Friend's Parents were 22.5 yrs apart, (Mother Elder). Both had the Strongest Marriages I ever saw.

I also generally prefer Guys younger than myself, as I have alwys gotten along better with and had much more in common with Younger guys.

The few Guys, I knew older than me, we had nothing but conflicting views on everything.

Therefore, my Preference is a rather unbalanced Range to the Younger Guys vs Older Guys.

I would not have a problem with 22.5 yrs difference, (younger). I absolutly will NOT go more than 2-5 yrs older than myself, IF, at all.

Sorry Guys, just the way it is. My few experiences have taught me this. That is why I have the prefferences I do.

It would be a very rare, Older Guy, that would be able to change my mind on this. He would have to be like I am, and not have found much in commmon with people His age or older.
