Liverpool made them look good, same way they made West Brom look good, which is why we haven't a hope of playing Champions League football next season...as i said before i can't fault your optimism, i just prefer to base my optimism on reality...
BATE are the best thing to ever come out of the league, that really says it all...the league in general is pants!!
The first two don't have age on their side and wouldn't get into any top 5 club...i'd keep Shelvey, he's big and can get himself about, Spearing is too small, weak and not the best passer in the world!!
Well i can't see them all being there either at the end of this transfer window or the next, Adam and Spearing being the casualties...that leaves 6, Shelvey and Cole are never gonna be the first names on the team sheet so that leaves Gerrard, Lucas, Henderson and Allen...
One game?? fair play to your optimism mate but there's not a top 8 team in The Premiership that wouldn't have hammered Gomel, they're the Belarusian champions and have never qualified for a European competition so i don't now where you're getting that they don't concede many goals from...Liverpool are trying to build for the future, that's why Allen has come in, plus 99% of the time a manager will bring a player with him from a previous club, it helps get his ideas across quicker..i have a feeling he's trying to get rid of Adam and Spearing to bring in one or two more players because it's a nown fact that he has to sell to buy!!
No need to get all defensive, it's a football discussion, as we're both Liverpool fans i was having a discussion about Liverpool...i just don't see, in the games that have been played already under Rodgers, any sign of improvement so far, if you can point it out to me then fair enough...
I don't see any evidence of Liverpool being a top 4 club, it's wishful thinking for any fan to even consider that, we were so far away last season and now have a total new system in place that's gonna take even more time to work at...Spurs, Arsenal and Newcastle would be ahead of Liverpool this season
Vidic looked miles off the pace, yous really need him to be fit and on his game if yous think you'll be challenging for the league...only the first game of the season though and in fairness it really only starts after Christmas...that's if you're still in the mix!!
his is actually pretty embarrassing lads, at least talk some football, it was the first weekend of the season and yous are here TRYING to slag each other...do any of yous know anything about football??
1-0 Everton, not a bad game, still no RVP...Everton proving that they're still The SCUMS bogey team, not anywhere near over yet though, more goals in this game i reckon
Card 1 (Judgement) : How you feel about yourself now » You feel this is an end to an era or at least a certain phase of your life - you are taking stock and looking where you want to go from here. This ending is not one for regret but for rejoicing. Soon you will enjoy the rewards for your past efforts. As with any period of endings, many opportunities will present themselves and the choice that you make will have far reaching implications that could change your life dramatically. Any legal issues should be ruled in your favour.
Card 2 (Strength) : What you most want at this moment » The cards suggest that what you most want at this time is to find the strength and will power to see you through and achieve what you want. It is important to come from a place of love and tolerance though, and not aggression. Put your fears to rest and develop a positive attitude and you'll reap richer rewards.
Card 3 (Death) : Your fears » You are afraid of experiencing turbulent and catastrophic change, as we all are, yet challenging such transformation in our lives helps create brand new opportunities. If you are experiencing or have just experienced losing a job, a bereavement, divorce or the end of a relationship, these changes will allow brand new opportunities into your life.
Card 4 (The Devil) : What is going for you » There's a possibility of permanence here. If you're considering a commitment in a relationship or marriage this is a good sign. However question your motives because here we have temptation and addiction, and a desire to be controlled or controlling. So use your intuition and if you recognise what you feel as sincere, great, if not you still have a chance to change direction. If considering giving up a bad habit, such as smoking or drinking for example, now is a good time to start.
Card 5 (The Lovers) : What is going against you » Are you suffering in silence in an unhappy relationship or feeling very lonely? Do you have the courage to make the decision you really know you should make? You have a great sense of duty but are you happy? A difficult decision has to be made - have courage and you will achieve emotional happiness.
Card 6 (Wheel Of Fortune) : Outcome » Expect life to change and quickly. Fate, destiny or synchronicity, call it what you like, positive change and good fortune is evident here. If you have important choices to make trust your intuition. Do you feel that events seem to be evolving without much input from you? If so trust it and go with the flow.
