I slept like a baby last night!

I dont think 2011 was as extreme as 2010 or 2009 , as we had a very mild christmas, the previous years were unbearable ice and snow for weeks! However the wind and rain this year has been the most i have ever seen, is 2012 really the end of the world? Gulp

Ok, so lets look at general play! He is a headless chicken in the box, he is a terrible finisher and he was absolutely non-existant against Fulham and QPR! Nani tantalises defenders, sets up goals and scores goals, Valencia was instrumental on United winning the league last season, he assisted i dont know how many of Rooneys goals and when he is fit he is electric, as proved when he was unmarkable against Blackburn, even though we lost!

Nani, 6 goals , 8 assists, 19 appearances!

Gervinho, 4 goals, 5 assists, 17 appearances!

Valencia, 1 goal, 7 assists from only 11 appearances!

Out of the 3, i would take Nani and Valencia's stats over Gervinhos!

I think lindegaard is going to be United's long-term No. 1... De Gea is horrendous at crosses, he cant deal with them, there isnt the same physical aeriel presence in the spanish league, De Gea is a terrific shot-stopper, but i am beginning to have severe doubts about him and i for one think Fergie could have possibly got this one wrong! Lindegaard looks a better keeper to me, but time will tell!

Should be a cracker at the weekend, form goes out the window for these derby games! If ye had played Sunderland a few weeks ago, ye would have throttled them, Martin O Neill has made a huge difference to the mentality of the players there, they didnt deserve the win, but they got it from determination! Arsenal had a great opportunity to get right back into the title race today and they fekked it away, i still dont believe Spurs will be anywhere near come May, Chelsea were blessed to win today at Wolves, we have a tough game away to Newcastle, there are bound to be lots of twists and turns yet! Enjoy the game the weekend!

I love cooking, its one of my passions! And love eating it more-so

Just had home made pasta with a home-made tomato, basil and chilli sauce, with lots of parmesano on top!

Tomorrow i am doing a home-made cheese and salami pizza, goats cheese, stilton and mozerella with a beautiful salami, a bit of chorizo and basil pesto! Served with home-made fries and salad, Heaven!

I agree with you that its not won at Christmas! But the injury list is too ferocious now in my opinion, Vidic out for the season will take its toll come May! City have world class players on the bench, we have Gibson, Anderson, Keane, Pogba, Fryers...

Fergie made a huge mistake in resting Giggs and Rooney who are not injured, his arrogance didnt pay off today and he didnt show blackburn enough respect! Afterall they did get a result at Anfield only a few days ago

A total of 14 players out for us today, it took its toll.

Blackburn were 25/1, Villa were 14/1, some double!

In my opinion, it would be silly to presume that we are the only form of life in the entire universe, especially as the universe is ever-ending! I would imagine there is definately life somewhere else, galaxies away, somewhere like Avater, jesus i loved that annimation!

But we were outclassed in nearly every single match in the qualifying stages! Russia,Slovakia and Armenia played us off the pitch, but they know how to get the end result! We had no right to qualify playing the football we played, but we did!

Since 1990 in competitive matches, Ireland have won 58, drawn 52 and lost 24... So Ireland have got a result in 83% of their matches in competitive games and have lost 17%... No reason to fear anybody in this tournament, well be hard to beat, always will be...

I am very confident that it will go down to the wire, and i have a feeling we will sneak through!

Spain/Germany/Portugal would have been much much worse!

Italy are beatable and i dont believe in this they play well on the big stage nonsense.. Didnt New Zealand draw with them at the world cup and they didnt get past the first round? Not only that, but Trappatoni has an unbelievable record against Italy, he knows how they play inside out. And their goalscorer Cassano wont be there as he is very ill..

Croatia.. Yes a good team, but they are definately beatable! If they were a brilliant team they would not have finished 2nd in their group and have to settle for a play off...

As for Spain, the way they play will suit Ireland. Spain play patient keep ball and Ireland will play 9 or 10 behind the ball and make it extremely difficult for them. Villa is the main threat up front, but they dont have much more up front.. Its in midfield where all the class is and we could frustrate them, and if we do lose we wont get hammered... Switzerland did it to them at the world cup and beat them and Spain were far from impressive throughout the world cup and scraped by. They peaked at the last european championships and they wont be as prolific this year.

So... Can Ireland qualify? Even 4 points may turn out to be enough to get through.... A win against Croatia and a win against Italy is very possible in my opinion... Spain should beat us! No reason why Ireland cant get at least 4 points

Tough life being a premiership manager these days! I dont think Villas-Boas will get the sack though, he has age on his side.. I think he will be given next season anyways, but its only a matter of time before Kean is gone! Also cant believe Martinez is still at Wigan
