lol, like they were for Jesus himself or any of his apostles who were crucified, crucified upside down, fed to lions, beheaded etc...Standing for the truth can cost you everything at times. Like Martin Luther King Jr. but it seems like the message always grows stronger after! Woot, not even death holds a victory over Christ and those that love him!
Honestly, the way I see him coming, based on how he says that he will come with the clouds, is that the clouds in the sky will actually take on the form of the heavenly host, the clouds will transform and cease to be clouds, they will now be the glorified souls of human beings and of Angels. That is my view and cannot be confirmed or debunked untill it happens. That is the wonderfull image that I have of it in my mind though!
Remember what he said: Many will come proclaiming to be him, so if anyone tells you that he is out in the desert or wherever, do not believe them, for as the lightning flashes in the east is visible in the west so shall the coming of the son of man be. Remember- he says "Behold, I come with the clouds" and he will bring all of his holy ones with him. Emagine a great procession of the heavenly host coming from the sky. Like a mass of glorious Angels being seen by all men, with Christ in the lead.
According to prophecy, there will be no peace. Things will get very much worse and Israel will be the epicenter of it, but to blame that on the Jews isn't fair in my estimation. In the end it will be non-jews surrounding jeruselem in order to exterminate the Jews, however thier attempt will fail. Is Israel the problem? No, the problem is that we are in a spiritual war on this planet. Every single human being has this spiritual war raging within.
Whats wierd to me is that interracial countries exist and actually get along pretty well in many cases. There is always some problems, but the potential for peacefull coexistance is definitely real and happening. I see that the Jews have been persecuted harshly at times and that the Jews themselves have done the same to others. When anyone does evil to another there is no justification for it wheather you are Jewish or non-Jewish. The finality here lies within prophecy itself. Jews will be punished (or recieve consequences) for thier personal evils, but overall those who fight against the Jews will endure wrath from God himself. If anyone wishes to spare themselves from wrath(or the consequences of thier actions) it would be wise to do your best to live at peace with all of your nieghbors. Sometimes this could mean forgiving an injustice to you or your family. The merry go round of violence will end in disaster for all who ride it. That is why I believe Jesus teaches us to "Turn the other Cheek" and not to repay evil with evil.
If you dont believe in prophecy I suggest to you to read the old testament and then study on the prophecies that have come true already. It is amazing.
Even if the land was given by God to the Jews, there is nothing written that they cant share it peacefully...or that the palestinians cant share it peacefully.
