Ok. I stand corrected. Thankyou Tornados are nothing to play with. I can remember a commercial on television many years ago, (I was in the third grade at the time) and the commercial showed a tornado and a voice out of nowhere says "Never bet on a tornado, the steaks are to high". I remember comming home one day, through Montgomery (Hamiliton County) and this was like 5 months after an F-3 localized F-4 went through and it was still a mess. Only two people were killed in that tornado, but that is still two, to many. A good peice of advice...If you see a tornado, and it looks like it is sitting still, its comming right at you. That is the time, you want your head, lower than your feet.
Its bad. The buckeyes offensive blocking is really bad right now. Right before last commercial break, the quarter back got sacked, again. Thats four for the night.
Your welcome. The Bengals didn't do to good this year. I can't say I blame you for waiting for the female feline to come claw it off. That would be sweet lol.
Bush can't go for another term. When his remaining two years is up, thats it. No more Bush. I just hope that he doesn't cause anymore harm, than already done before he is out of office.
I saw the tornado that hit Mason, here in Warren County. It was the first and last tornado I have seen. I could have seen the tornado that touched down in Blueash and Montgomery, back in '99, but I was in front of the house looking South when it came by. It passed our house, to the North, missing it by maybe a quarter of a mile. It literally sounded like a low flying jet.
That does sound familiar. I remember hearing it on the radio. I believe I heard it on WSM out of Nashville. If I recall, correctly, (Keyword: Correctly),it happened at night and a church was destroyed.
From my understanding of weather, thunderstorms and torandos are just two of the many ways the atmosphere ballances itself out.
April 3 and 4 of 1974. I am sure a lot of you remember these to dates. The "grandaddy" of all tornado outbreaks occured on these two days. When everything was said and done, 148 tornados had touched down. Xenia Ohio was the worst hit. Since then, there has not been an outbreak of such magnitude. Was global warming occuring back then?
I was hoping you could tell me. I could google, but you said the facts are there. What facts do *YOU* know. You said it "Sounds like ignorance, the facts are out there". Do *YOU* know any of the facts? I am not trying to belittle you in any way Pucks, its just you said the facts are out there and I am asking you for facts.
I hear that there are facts, but what exactly are the facts? Can you point me to a site that tells the facts? Sorry my good friend, but, its not ingnorance. Its just I have yet to hear facts.
True, we are seeing some strange weather patterns for this time of year. I sometimes think that strange, off the wall, patterns happen for no reason. Example: December of 2002, I started going to school for welding out in Nevada Missouri. First day I attended, It snowed in the area of six inches. Exactly, two weeks later, to the day, A tornado touched down five miles south of the school.
On the other hand, atleast a foot of snow, and snow ever since (with none being the norm before that) I would have to say something is responsible for the changes. Global warming...I don't know. But, something is causing a change. If we are having a mild winter, I think we are in for a violent spring, with tornadic thunderstorms. Yes, Sheila, something is causing the pattern, but I don't know what is.
In the 1970s, it was acid rain. Now, its global warming. The government came out that it was cows, letting off methane that was causing the problem. Before that, it was cars. I appologize, but I don't buy into global warming.
Bi-polar carries a stigma, given by society. If one is diagnosed with cancer, a lot of people say, "I am so sorry to hear that", where as one diagnosed with bi-polar, a lot of people will say "the guy (or girl) is nuts" or "its all in their head, they need to snap out of it". Bi-polar is just as common as cancer or any other illness and needs to be treated as such. Bi-polar can kill, just as easily as cancer.
