April 3, 1974. A Tornado ripped through Mason Ohio, Killing at least one person. I remember seeing that tornado. All in all 148 tornados from April 3 to April 4.
April 9, 1999. An F-3, localized F-4 tornado ripped through Montgomery, Blueash and Loveland (Where I was living at the time) here in Ohio. The tornado did a great amount of damage, killing a few people. It missed my house in Loveland by a quarter of a mile.
If memory serves me correctly, there was never a real end to the Korean Conflict. There had only been a cease fire, and that cease fire ended back some time ago which means, theoretically, we are still at war with them. Am I correct on this?
That would be sweet. 2 engine driven welders (Miller 225NT Bobcat, Lincoln power arc 4000) 2 buzz boxs (Miller AC Thunderbolt, Lincoln 225 AC,DC) and one cheap campbell hossfeld mig welder. Its a shame that I went into electronics. I always wanted to get my certs in structural and pipe. Started out at Hobarts up in Troy, but that school sucked (just my oppinion), Then off to MWI for two months.
Hailing from Springfield hey? I was out in Nevada back in December of 02 till February of 03. I went to the Missouri Welding Institute. The first day I started school there (on a Monday) we got like 8 inches of snow and 2 weeks later, a tornado touched down 5 miles south of the school. Odd weather out there in December lol
"How to become more successful"...I am still trying to figure that one out myself. I sometimes ask myself "Is it really worth it, going to a matchmaking service or dating site?" You have to make a profile, list this, list that. In all reality, it is no different than making a resume`. Its almost like you have to sell yourself (actually, it is selling yourself). The upside is, you make a lot of friends. I am almost to the point of giving up and calling it quits. I met one Lady on here and we had a real good time, for the time we were together. Out of all the Ladies I have dated, (and that is a large number), all have come short in comparison to her. Its like, after being with her, I will never find another Lady as good as her. If I do, I will be one lucky son of a gun. My advice to you is, if I can find someone as good as the last one, you will find your special someone. My 2 cents.
You are very lucky to have had a love like that. My dad died back in 2000. In February of 2000, mom and dad had just moved into a house they had built. Four months later, he was gone. He had just retired in January of that year. My mom feels like you. No one could ever take his place. They were married for almost 45 years. It takes a longer than a year (I would think) to get over something like that. Just my thoughts
His fears are real. Ambushs and roadside bombings occur everyday over there. He may have other fears as well. Being taken hostage may be one of them. Kieth Mappun, came from a town about 15 miles from here, was taken hostage and hasn't been heard from since. You may want to point out that even though these things happen, it doesn't mean that they will happen to him. I was told horror stories about bombs, while being worked on, blew up and killing people but it never happened to me. I didn't fear bombs and missiles while working on them, but I had a healthy respect for them. Yes, his fears are real. Again, he needs to talk to his commanding officer about them.
I agree with you, TheProfessor. He needs an eval. This very well may save his life. If he goes into battle, and breaks, not only could it cost him his life, but perhaps the lives of others. Most commanding officers (knowing of such a condition) will not make them go into combat. Please tell your friend to talk to his commanding officer.
I know the feeling. I graduated from a junior college last year at the age of 42. The school was chalked full of young'ns. Lot of the instructors I had were younger than me. I have to admit, getting that degree did pay off
6.995 MHz seems to be a hot spot for pirate broadcasters. Most of the transmissions are done in upper side band. The magazine "Popular communications" has a feature called the "Pirates Den" devoted to pirate radio. When I was in highschool, our electronics class from the vocational school took a tour of the VOA Bethany Relay station back in 1979. The modulation transformer used for one of the transmitters took up a whole room. You could hear the broadcast comming out of it. It was sweet to say the least.
I met a nice Lady from this site, Monday evening of this week. I am very happy that we met and she feels the same way. We are going camping this weekend
I am not sure if my next relationship will last a life time. I hope it does. That would be great. It depends on if their is any lying or cheating. If she lies or cheats, its over. I wont lie or cheat. My conscience wont let me. I have been with a liar and a cheater and the marriages went down hill real quick. Hence the reason I am at this site, to find a love that wont cheat or lie.
RE: I don't get it
I approve the message as well
