Technology has added a new dimension to means of communicating, but infidelity has always been an issue. Technology just allows a number of alternative means to an end??? In response to OP, I think that the biological clock has a lot to do with why women and men feel the need to be in a relationship by a certain age, so that childbearing can take place within a relationship JMO ... the nature of the beast is that none of us wishes to be on our own, the reason sites like this are so successful and prevalent is proof enough ... when I met my husband 14 years ago, never expected to be on my own at this stage in my life, thought we would be together forever, and that he was soulmate, but the infidelity issue reared it's ugly head and hard decisions had to be made ... having said that, enjoying the personal space and the independance for the moment ...
