Totally academic question .... do you view me differently because of the new pic? Not naked by the way but the other bit didn't show?? Not talking about the post when discussing perceptions, but people's perceptions of others in general based on what they see/read????

Being brave putting this up now cos no one probably around but whatever ... recently made a mistake and posted something on a thread which I really didn't mean to, but was surprised that others on the site should have thought that I was innocent??? we make decisions and choices based on our perceptions of others and their way of communicating on this site, and sometimes, I wonder, are we too hasty? Do we disregard somebody because of how we feel they might be without giving them the benefit of the doubt or a chance to interact?? I'm not innocent or demure or virginal or whatever (nearly 50 and four children!!!! FFS) but did people see something else when they viewed my profile?

Before the Recruitment Embargo .....

A certain County Council recently hired several cannibals. "You are all part of our team now", said the HR manager during the welcoming briefing. "You get all the usual benefits and you can go to the cafeteria for something to eat, but please don't eat any of the other employees".


The cannibals promised they would not.


Four weeks later their boss remarked, "You're all working very hard, and I'm satisfied with you. However, one of our Admin girls has disappeared. Do any of you know what happened to her?"


The cannibals all shook their heads indicating "no".


After the boss had left, the leader of the cannibals said to the others, "Which one of you idiots ate the Admin chick?"


A hand rose hesitantly, to which the leader of the cannibals continued, "You fool!!!!! For four weeks we've been eating Managers and Supervisors and no one noticed anything, but noooooo, you had to go and eat someone important!!!!"

Hey, J ... I had an angel card reading a few years ago and poohed poohed the idea completely .... with hindsight the reading was spot on, I believe and would love to know how to give readings or to get another reading .... gen up, missy and maybe before the evening of the 29th, us believers can have an angel card reading session in one of the rooms in Langtons and work out exactly who is going to do who on the night!!!! Before it even happens!!!!!! Have 2 guardian angels .... and eff the begrudgers ....
