I've had the privilge of working with the IFTA's(irish film and television awards)..i've met so many from mel gibson to colin farrell...a really good gig for me...
on a personal level i've danced(irish) on tv twice and sang solo a few years live from lucan. it was a mass on new years day. don't laugh
I've just read the thread....it is hard to know what to say or do but there is no right or wrong way to deal with this... as you can see from the outpouring here you have a lot of support here and hopefully this will give you the strength to deal with it on a personal level and then in turn find the strength to help you're friend and his family....
i just can't believe how the whole thing has turned out...i'm absolutely devastated... my religion was the one thing in my life that i thought i could count on and now it turns out to be a shambles...
Hi steve,, just read this thread... god love you...all you wanted to say was something nice and see what other places are people's favs...and what happened only a barage of negative comments from stupid people who just used the thread to air their opinions on crap....
this country is brilliant and if we had the weather we wouldn't want to go anywhere else... co-incidently i'm just back from a weekend in derry and to be honest i truly can't wait to get back there.
if you get the chance to visit wexford please do, it's really cool.
fair point. Actually now that i think about it the guy involved with my experience did most of his threatening when he was drunk. he wouldn't leave my house, my friend had to come and get him out. it was really scary
my worse date was after a few dates with one person, it just wasn't working out and so i said so.. the guy turned phycho and i ended up having to report him to the guards as he threatened myself and worse still my kids
