The husband is lying I think, but if she has thoughts of going back I would say move on. Its hard to see the right thing to do when invovled, try standing outside looking in on a similar situation....
The thing is everyone is different, I still think if someone can do it once they are capable of doing it again, wether they do or not is a different question.
