As a parent it breaks my heart to think of this child dead in the dirt. However, as a citizen, we can't convict people of what we THINK, just of what we KNOW. I THINK she killed or caused the death of her child; I KNOW a jury found differently. She'll be judged again later.
What's scary is that a bunch of NON-AMERICANS propose to tell us what's going on HERE. We LIVE this reality and as someone who CAME to America for freedom it saddens me to see my children turning their gaze elsewhere for opportunity and freedom. The "Patriot" act was a ploy just like the burning of the Reichstag in the generation before us. WAKE UP !!!!! The Western States are at least trying to remain free. America needs to return to being a CONCEPT again, not just a place on the globe.
As the Chancellor of Germany declared a couple years ago, the Prime Minister of England last year, and is FINALLY becoming obvious to all the rest of us; MULTI-CULTUREISM DOES NOT WORK!!!!
I can't state that too emphatically. Here in the USA, we're pretty much ALL immigrants and should remember that if the "Old Country" was THAT good, we'd still BE there!!!!
If you're coming to the USA, plan on BECOMING an AMERICAN! If you're going to Germany, BE GERMAN; wherever you're going, GET WITH THE PROGRAM. If Shariah Law is what you want, there are a few countries that subscribe to it; GO THERE!! If you want to be a Mexican, go to MEXICO!!! I'm from Italy but PROUDLY wore theAMERICAN uniform because THIS is the country that I chose and I OWE that to my country and my FELLOW AMERICANS.
Sure, this may seem like some corny stuff but you have to stand for something and the country my family came to stands for a certain package of ideals that I accepted for them to accept me. If you don't like the deal where you are, vote with your wallet or shoeleather and LEAVE.
Everyone has the right to their ideas, ideals and spirituality/religion. The USA has freedom OF religion hence it has freedom FROM religion. NOBODY should make you worship or not nor choose how you do so provided you harm no others in your worship.
In the interest of peace Israel has traded land for peace only to lose land and enjoy no greater peace or security. What time has taught us is that Israel will only know peace and security so long as we hold our faith in our heart and a gun in our hand. Our HOMELAND is roughly the size of New Jersey and like Jersey.....YOU CAN'T HAVE IT. We won't give up another inch of it nor will we go away so learn to get along with us, we're here and we will fight if we must. America should not only continue its support of Israel but increase our support as necessary to uphold the staunch supporter that America has enjoyed in the Middle East since its inception. The principles of Israel and and America are virtually identical with equality and justice for all. Israel continues to hold a draft (that America might reinstate) by both necessity and common sense that all Israelis are INVESTED in their home. I don't know all the answers nor even all the questions but listening to issues about Israel since I was a child, here's what I've come to think and thoughts are our own.
If you don't like it don't USE it! We have all kinds of freedoms that we choose to either exercise or not. BTW, if you're not that into men, there are other sites where you might feel more at home. Be Well.
Cheer us; that kind of love DOES still exist!!!! Never give up hope and just enjoy the auditions enroute to finding it. it's still around. Get on over to I-25, make a right, go 78 miles and go fishing awhile. You never know WHO you'll run into when you go for a nice dip in the Springs at the end of the day or who you'll encounter there around T or C. It was refreshing to see a prominent government official make such a statement. I'm sure that Germany's problems are much like our own here in the US, that immigrants forget that THEY are the guests who came of their own accord. Here in Arizona, we're trying to get a grip on that problem through enforcement of our immigration laws and slowly cutting back funding that perpetuates and finances those problems. My family came from Europe and we were encouraged to learn American English and American customs. We became AMERICANS; we served in the Armed Forces and I'm proud to say my children are the 3rd generation to proudly wear the USAF uniform. I welcome others to come to this country but before you leave your homeland, remember that this is a country that though tolerant for the most part is founded on Judeo-Christian values with an identity that is uniquely OURS. In the 60's there was a popular bumper sticker seen on cars;"America, Love It Or Leave It". It expressed succinctly a sentiment that we should still hold true. This is AMERICA, not Italy, Sweden or whatever "Old Country" one romanticizes about. This is a VAST place where folks still own and carry handguns, believe in Capital Punishment and try to fight against intolerance and extremists. Sure, we have our share of problems but all in all, we stick together and get by. If you want to live under Sharia Law, FINE! Go live in a Muslim nation where that's the way with my blessings! If you want a nation where only the police are armed, pack up, board a plane and GO! If you want a place where anyone can marry anyone and gays serve openly in the military, Stick around and we'll work on that. We're AMERICANS and we fight amongst ourselves from time to time but we argue in AMERICAN ENGLISH. Learn it and our customs and come join the fray; there'll be food and refreshments when it's over. Long story short: If you don't like our ways, LEAVE. Just like any other country, if you GO there BE there. Become part of the fabric of life, the fabric of the country, the flavor of it's uniqueness.
I didn't used to like "Me" and be willing to just be "Me" , not who I thought my partner wanted/needed me to be. Now I'm a MUCH happier guy and enjoying my life and family far more deeply. Even my Ex is more enjoyable this way. JOY is possible if you like YOURSELF first!
You can bet that the GOP will come up with something new or they'll remain out and that's what politicians are all about, Getting Into Power and keeping it!! If they don't come up with something that The People will buy and that will WORK longterm, they'll be out again and fighting to get back in. The Tea Party is gaining momentum because so many Americans are sick of team A promoting their agenda for 4 years as it fails then team B wasting money tearing it all down just to replace it with whatever they cook up. We want FORETHOUGHT, not afterthought; planning not recovery. I don't know how long you've been here but my KIDS are First Generation and I'd like this to be a place my family will remain rather than have to leave for Argentina, Brazil or wherever to find a better life. America was great when I arrived and I want to see it that way again in my lifetime.
If it's a Prison, the occupants are welcome to leave to join their bretheren in Jordan,Lebanon, etc. Jews have ONE country to call home, It's the size of New Jersey and NO, YOU CAN'T HAVE ANYMORE! Israel has given land for peace and ended up with neighther. ENOUGH!
Did anyone else notice how long-winded the foreigners singing praises while the Americans say their piece SUCCINCTLY? To you overseas I say; let Americans decide for America. If you like Obama so well, let him come lead YOUR country and good luck to you.
