I have read all of the post to this thread and have been prompted to write a reply to::conversing:
I have been off-site for awhile and recently came back, I was going through some changes and have only just now really looked back at my past.I had a really nice full size truck with all the options, power everything, onstar, xm-radio, heated seats, and alloy wheels. That was not good enough.
Then I got my Harley, hit the road,(14,000 miles in 5 months)started to accept the fact that I would probably be single for the rest of my life and got to a comfortable spot with that.
I was getting ready for a bikefest in Panama City, Fl. and lost my job so I then figured WTF, hit the road anyway with the attitude of Frack it!!
Got a job and found a little biker bar in Bay Minette. Was not looking or even concerned about a woman, I had my Harley, she did not care if I rode another bike, looked at another bike, or had anything to do with anpther bike !
The lady of my dreams walked in and changed my life, now I have no Harley because I needed to let go of material things for my new found family.
We are all disabled in one way or another, the main thing is to enjoy life, don't get down because of personal (or physical) problems. When a person stops fighting facts and learns to accept them, everything changes like hitting a reset switch, and the game continues, just different way of viewing the rules.
NEVER GIVE UP, GIVE IN SOME, AND ALWAYS KEEP MOVING ON !!
