RE: do you prefer to live alone or with friends ?

I said I would prefer to live alone because right now me and my kids are living with my sister and I have to sleep in the living room and have no privacy. I would love to be able to get a place for me and my children and, hopefully, a significant other in the near future. I am not sure if I will live with someone without being married as long as my children are still in the house though. Okay.....I have made a simple little poll into a huge deal!!!!

So.....how is the weather there??!!!

I have male friends that I have known for over 25 years and we have never even thought about being anything other than friends so, yes, I believe it is totally possible.

Amen to that!!! I turn and run real quick now if I see the slightest hint of someone being controlling or abusive.

My relationship didn't start out that way either. You are right sometimes it is difficult to notice early on. By the time you do, sometimes it is too late.

It is not always easy to get out but, for your own self-preservation, you have too, especially when there are children involved.

Thnak you so much for the kind words. I don't mind telling my story because I hope that it may help someone else. No one deserves to be treated like that. I am proud of mysel for sure. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do but I felt like the world had been lifted off of my shoulders the minute I told him I wanted a divorce. I knew it was the right decision.
