I understand completely hun....but when a child is too young to understand then as adults we have to take the role of "looking out" for them.
But understand completely what you are saying.. Just seems so sad to see people getting their knickers twisted over not having peanut butter for lunch....at the sake of a childs life
I know what you mean.. Really.. But it seems generations are becoming more and more prone to things.. My son for example suffers badly from asthma...all my children have had it but he suffers REALLY badly. He has been in hospital 5 times and hes only 4.
I understand VE...but a bee sting can be unpreventable..unless of course its a Bee school. To me they are merely trying to prevent the worse scenario happening.
If you knew a child had a allergy to bees you would not take them to a hive... You then would not put a child with a nut allergy in a situation with Peanuts?
I am not really sure why it is such a big issue to be honest...i would hate to think it was my sons sandwich that killed another boy wouldnt you?
Unfortunately peanut allergies are more common than ever, most children out grow them but the most serious is this:
The most severe reaction in a child with peanut allergies can be a life threatening one. Anaphylactic shock involves swelling of the mouth, lips or throat and a drop in blood pressure resulting in difficulty in breathing and loss of consciousness
I for one am quite happy to assist in anyway to help a child who may suffer from this..... When a child is at school it is the schools responsibility to ensure their safety. And if its something as trivial as not eating nuts then good for them for making that law!
Theres a child with a peanut allergy in my sons school.. The school simply sent out mail asking for non-nutty foods for packed lunches. The problem is though...nuts can be found in many things. You have to check most pastries and breads!
I dont see it as changing a way of life, i see it as being compassionate to someone who HAS to change their way of life. Its only stopping peanut butter for lunch for heavens sake..im sure the kids can live without it for a few hours
It really has nothing to do with race/color/nationality or religion. Its who you are as a person.... If you wish to use that as a tool because YOU feel it hard to date then so be it.
Not all subjects are open for debate... Merely for an opinion on a subject...Why should one not post their opinion in fear of it being used against them and formed into a debate.
RE: One child in elementary school has a P-nut allergy. Should the school
