Yes it is. People who get date scammed do it all of the time, that's part of how they get scammed. That is the scammers job to cause such an unlikely scenario.
I also, read an article about a Chinese’s man who obtained the rights to marry a Final Fantasy game character. So yeah, as odd as it may sound, this can happen.
I do agree with what you said, but then again, we are not talking about preventing each and every way you can get ripped off now are we. No, what I was just trying to do is offer some help to some of the new people on here when it comes to ONLINE MONEY DATING SCAMS. New people who are just starting out and do not know what to expect even if they read the warnings.
People tend to forget that there are many people who act with their hearts and not with their minds. Who get wrapped up in the pursuit of love and lose their direction.
People also tend to forget that there are people who are just not that experienced with this online dating stuff.
Now all of you seasoned pros might say to this, “Oh, well if these people are that stupid, then they deserve what they get,” but that isn't the case. No one deserves to have their heart broken and have their bank account emptied, don't you understand that!
Besides, this only adds to the overall problem. This kind of thinking only allows these criminals to continue to do what they are doing and make a profit. If they don't make a profit, then they will stop doing it. If there is no food in the water, then the sharks go away, well at least most of them anyways.
Also, if you don't wish to get involved, then don't, but don't try to silence those of us who do. You're not taking any risks, or putting any time in, so what is your problem.
You never know, all you ball busters, that someday, somebody like me, just might help out one of your family members to avoid getting taken for everything they got. So don't be so nasty about it ok.
And as far as my profile having all of these holes in it, I disagree, but then, is this what my thread is all about? No.
The thread is about me helping those who might need it irregardless of what people may or may not think about my profile.

In fact, whenever somebody even says the word scammer, people like you are all over them for doing it. So, unless you are willing to put the time into helping a little, don’t be so harsh about a simple thing like an offer.

Also, for those who think that reporting these scammers is really going to do anything, you might what to guess again. According to a few things I have researched, most dating sights, and yes this might even includes CS, doesn’t do as much to these people as you might think they do, in other words, they most likely will do nothing to these people who you report. Now I can understand why they might not, but you should keep this in mind when you make a report.
Besides, the best way to handle this issue is with us and no with CS. If we don't get scammed here, then they will get the message that this isn't a good place to score, and that is good for all of us.
Now don't get me wrong, there will always be scammers, and they will always try, but there will be a lot less of them here. And maybe over time, most will come to stop because if you can't make money, then why do it, right.
Yes it is if it shows the name of who sent it. I can hardly think this rule applies if the name was taken out of it, after all, the rule is protect the identify of the person, right.
Anyways, that is why also suggested to email it to me as to avoid this issue.
There is nothing wrong with that. It is a good suggestion always, yet I just read a post before I made the offer, in fact it was because of that post that I did, that showed people still are not getting it. So, I thought maybe I could do more then just direct someone to read. I guess you can say I am just trying to help, that's all.
This is for those who don't know what you know. And let me make another suggestion to you. Never post how you know they are a scammer like you just did. And never tell them that you know they are. Just don't reply back to them.
The reason you don't them to know how you know is because you don't want the bad guys to know how you did it so that they can learn and evolve their technique for scamming. So then, why do so many people base their relationships on it? Many swear that it has to be there, but yet, they don't seem to understand that it fades away. Why is that?
