Do you get it? Review verse 6. Do you get the meaning? There is no other God found along side Him. No multiple god's; Vs 7, He makes a challenge to all other gods to come forth and speak of their deeds - to stand up for themselves - to show their superior power. Baptism is misleading as is the Catholic church unfortunately. Baptism is performed on those that wish to serve God as Jesus did. Recall that Jesus was a prophet, teacher and preacher. No of us, today, are able to give or make a prophesy for Jesus was the last prophet of God.

Right, God and State were not commingled in the fashion most people believe or want to believe. The simple fact is this: The people of repressed England wanted to worship freely, the way they wanted to.

I can appreciate your stated argument, however, there needs to be one change here and it is that God Almighty is not the God of the USA; recall in the beginning, the he created the world and everything in and on it. Therefore, he is the God of the world.
