Ray Farkas is a lawyer from Kingston or Hamilton who publidhed the Donnelly Family Album about 2001. It is all about The Donnelly's of Lucan. Incredible book!
Robert Salts is a school teacher who bought the Donnelly Homestead. He has published a book called, 'You Are Never Alone' and claims the homestead is haunted. He provides a tour when you visit and relates the entire story. A lawyer from Kingston has published another book called, 'The Donnelly Family Album'and has a video of the Donnelly's for sale. My Great Grandfather sailed to Canada from Ireland the same year as James Donnelly and I've reason to believe James and my GFrandfather are brothers. Two years diff in age! I've yet to prove it!
I lived next door to an elderly lady once who had a very simple method of making wine with potatos or bananas or dandelion or most any kind of fruit. She'd no fancy or store bought equipment and her wine was awesome I'd planned to have her write me out her method but I was too busy taste testing She moved and we lost touch.
Is anyone familar with the Donnelly family of Lucan Ontario who were massacred about 1880 on their own farm on the Roman Line. I've read at least 5 books written of them.Would like to find out if there exists any living descendants
