Why would I consider them neighborly friends? If they are Mexican Cartel then my answer is to waterboard them and get all the information out of them we can to stop all that crap from invading our borders as well.
Oh, no....you guys endorse torture. Sharia law is allowed in European countries...such as Great Britain just to name one.
Sharia Law is the worst form of torture and it is happening in Europe now.
And it is allowed by Europeans.
The United States constitition allows(and always has allowed) Mark and Reprisal - Enemies taken out by any means necessary. Our citizens, however, are protected from that.
THE LUXURY. What? Our country was in the midst of a serious depression. People had nothing - what was there to bomb? People here were starving. Almost everyone was dirt poor and sometimes the first pair of shoes a man received was the pair he got in the army. Yet, they answered the call of duty to save Europe from communism and fascism.
Well, we are not laughing now that Iran has the bomb. It won't be long before this current President has to be serious and take out Iran's capabilities.
Hindsight is 20/20. I have a feeling he would not. In fact, I think he'd jump on the waterboarding bandwagon if he wasn't so brutally tortured and killed by the terrorist first.
I know for a fact that there are terrorist cells in Canada. Is is okay if they blow up your town? Or would you rather we waterboard them for you here in the United States and stop it from happen...?
That's what I thought - your welcome, we will get to the waterboarding now.
Our constitution gives our President the authority of Mark and Reprisal. The President can give orders on his own to take out our enemies by any means necessary.
OUR ENEMIES. ENEMIES. Do you understand? Our ENEMIES. Not everyday average Amercicans - but people that want to kill YOU.
The person being waterboarded is not Mary Poppins who cares for little motherless children.
The people being waternoarded are TERRORIST. They want to kill YOU and ME.
Waterboard them, hunt them down, I don't care, just get them away from me and my family.
I am like President Bush in the fact that I don't believe in a one world approach.
It's never worked in the past and it will never work in the future.
Fact: People fight. It's what they do. People cannot get along to save their souls. Humans are competetive by nature. Don't live in LaLa Land. You want a one world mentality then by all means concede to Sharia Law.
I believe in Freedom. I don't need a world community. I need to be free.
Don't worry, you guys in Britain will have Sharia Law soon enough. When the muslims take over Britain, then you will have all the torture you want that is allowed with Sharia Law.
Waterboarding is not that big of a deal. It's harmless. It's like the puppy who's tongue happy...It's not going to kill anyone. Do you really know what real torture is? Real torture is not waterboarding. Real torture is someone standing on the very top of the world trade center tower having to decide whether to be burned alive or jump hundreds of feet to her death.
That's torture. Give me a break. Our military men face rougher challenges than waterboarding. I dare anyone who is against it to go stand in the front lines and fight at fallujah. Then and only then will I consider such a ridiculous argument that waterboarding "might" be torture.
All I know is I am alive and well. I have a strong American President and military to thank for that. If that waterboarding - then that's what needs to be done.
It's really none of your business what happens in my country. Your country has many more problems.
I'm okay with it. It obviously saved American lives. I think he did the right thing. He got critical information that we needed to stay safe. Thank you. President Bush and all the men in the military who carried it out.....you are my hero.
I love George Bush's sense of humor. Hilarious. That guy has the best personality. I loved it when he dodged those fyling shoes. Great stuff. Throwing a shoe at someone and thinking it is insulting. How childish and silly of the man who threw it. Hilarious.
When my grandmother was dying I was the only one in the house with her reading her a book about two young lovers in a beautiful garden. She could not talk or really move and had been sleeping a lot, but when I came to the part about the garden she looked at me and watched my face intently.
I told her "Grandma, I wish I had a garden like that. So beautiful."
She died then next morning early. It was my daughter's 13th birthday. That night my daughter went to bed late. I was sleeping when my daughter came into my room at about 2:30 at night. She was screaming and crying.
She said, "Nannie came to see me. She was standing by my bed. She told me that when she was a girl she went to bed a lot earlier and that she waited all day until I fell asleep so she could come and wish me Happy Birthday. And she said, "Your monther....she needs a garden."
There is no possible way that my daughter could have known the last converstion I had with my dying grandmother. It is too strange to be a coincidence.
I also should add that if you ever look at the names of States within the USA, you will see many indiginous native names. The state I am from, Missouri, is definitely one. Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Dakota.....just to name a few. We keep our indiginous people close to our hearts. We also name some of our military equipment in honor of them also -
Just in case anyone outside of the United States was ever curious. - Lucie
Lady, if you are talking about the "red indians" or the indigenous population of North America then you are talking about me. I'm Cherokee and Sauk and Fox and I am very Proud of the USA and what we have contributed. You will find many people here in North America that have indigenous blood in them. And we live together in peace here today. It's not the Palestinians that can't live in peace with the Israelis. Americans, even white Americans, have a lot of respect for Native culture. Popcorn is indigenous. The American game of Football is indigenous. Maple syrup and ice cream is indigenous. I can go on all night with the contributions, but this is about freedom of speech not the rightiousness of it.
A woman is born with all the eggs she will ever have in her life. Some women are born with less eggs and those unlucky women will probably not be able to have kids naturally after age 32.
My mother died of ovarian cancer at 30. When I went to my gynocologist at age 18, he told me "If you are going to have children have then soon. You have no guarantee that you will be fertile five years from now." So I had my daughter at age 20.
Shocker, I'm healty and never had the problems my mother did.
I do know one woman who had a surprise baby at age 45 without even trying and the baby was healthy, but that is extremely rare.
After age 32, the quality of a woman's eggs start to go bad gradually. The best time to have a baby is exactly what my doctor told me when I was 18. Women should be having babies from 18 to 27. After that, good luck.
I know that is not fun to hear, because women want to go to college and have a career....guess what?
I went to University and Ihave had a career and I had a baby at 20. It can be done.
Also, the world can ALWAYS make room for another cute blue eyed blonde, Mister. Bet on it.
RE: Bush Voted For Obama?
I served as well.We have different views on how to defend.
We've all lost people in this war, including my family.
