RE: WHAT DID YOU DO IF YOU WAS GOD FOR ONE DAY

Yeah man! Right on....

RE: WHAT DID YOU DO IF YOU WAS GOD FOR ONE DAY

I would teach grammar.

the two dead fish...

whatever happened to Smoky and Wedward? They monopolised the forums and gave their reactionary and asinine views on every subject on earth. How do two individuals manage to capture the EU forums? If anybody wrote against their awful views then they were immediately excommunicated from CS.

Such people, such awful bigots, such awfully stupid people should not be able to be on CS.

RE: Israel is again killing arround.

Were the rockets not triggered by the israeli occupation of 90% of Palestinian territory and a systematic attempt to destroy Palestinians?

RE: Do Americans know ?

I knew it!!

RE: Do Americans know ?

I KNOW THE 44 PEOPLE WHO KNOW THE 22 PEOPLE WHO RULE THE PRESIDENTlaugh

RE: I really need advice,....

This is a terrible predicament for you. Have you no high-up contacts in SA or locally? You should see a lawyer who specialises in matters of immigration etc. There is certainly a way out but only a lawyer would know it or perhaps some diplomat from SA.

Keep visiting the embassy, make them understand that you will not take this lying down.

If I think of anything useful I'll write here later.

RE: Thought Provoking Questions

Of course, you know that is a persistent delusion of mine because the truth is exactly the converse.

RE: Thought Provoking Questions

This is more than a just hypothetical or philosophical question. It is a reality in many parts of the world where people are born at home, far from hospitals and administrative centres and never registered.

When asked how old they are people (adults) invariably state an implausibly lower age than they visibly are. On the other hand, given the rigours of life in these parts, people age much faster than the normal ageing process. So one cannot be sure.

Anyway, this question is a lovely game question and invites an interesting variety of answers.

My answer would be: I would be younger than my mental maturity suggests. 'Tis a nice thought...

Mubarak and the US

After being mealy mouthed in their statements about Mubarak and the uprising in Egypt for over a week, the EU (taking the cue from the USA) have all swung against Mubarak. But then it may be too little, too late. Recently, in Burma after the huge uprising by Buddhist monks which seemed sure to sweep away the generals everything returned to square one. In Iran, three decades ago a popular uprising against the despotism of the Shah was overtaken by an islamic despotism of mullahs. I think almost every citizen of democratic nations who were aware of the developments in Tunisia and Egypt were rooting for the demonstrators.

However, there is one outstanding fact in US/Egypt relations. Captured (supposed) jihadists who couldnt be tortured in the USA were sent by EXTRAORDINARY RENDITION to allied states to be subjected to inhuman torture. The US sent numerous such prisoners to Mubarak's Egypt! And now Obama criticises Mubarak for violating human rights!!!

BY THE WAY THE US IS STILL MAKING EXTRAORDINARY RENDITIONS. I guess Cairo is off that list now.doh

Paypal - pros and cons

Not accepting these new fangled things such as paypal (and Facebook) is perhaps a sign of galloping senility. But I'm given to believe that there are certain risks - real risks involved. I'd like to hear from others about their experiences and views. doh
