Ur wrong on that as well Ken, an establishment will hire the best even if that person is a foreigner, i mean in england anyway.... Here they hire an irishman whos's not even qualified to do the job and has to be trained by a contractor....Lets face the real world man.....
I have to take ur side on this cos i have worked with a lot of irish men & women and they can be lazy and never want to do the simplest thing which is annoying...I have worked all over britain and ireland and cos of my flexibility i am always in a job.... A lot of foreigners work twice as hard as any irish bloke. What gets me is when they say "oh all these foreigners have come to take our jobs" meanwhile they are not qualified enough for the job..Irish women are more educated than the men and only in the last 6/7yrs have irish men started educating themselves... A lot of favouritism went on unquestioned just to have an irish guy at the workplace...And that's a fact..
That's my point where will the more money come from..? Pls forget about any country that did it am talking about now when most countries are broke...And what export industries are we talking about?..
Ok kool, where will the jobs come from? Remember ireland has no mineral resources, most of the industries are service industries and construction, the agricultural sector is capped by eu. Most international industries are pulling away cos of the recession.. The only option to generate revenue is to increase taxes and if they do that u know ppl will suffer more.. One more time where will the jobs come from.??? This time forget about economic theories or principles, we are talking about a country that has nowhere to pool it's resources together apart from inviting other countries to invest in.

I don't believe that for one second cos they will become complicent and confident and that is always manifested in a govt that's been in power for too long especially when they have a boom...Let's not fool ourselves any govt would have done the same...
When am about 60 or more then maybe i will date a 22yr old like those arab sheiks.. That's if my partner decides to leave me... As a matter of fact ain't they allowed to have 3 or more wives..?
