How can you forget someone
Who was the heart of your life
Who made you smile when you were down
Who embraced you when you were cold
You just felt safe around him.. and secure

He would always give you something to look forward to
And when you saw him you would fall in love deeper
Some things cannot be forgotten... neither will he
But why sulk over someone who wont shed a tear back?
Why spend endless nights and days thinking about him
When he's probably happier without you?

Yes sweetie, I know its hard to move on
But you have to be strong, you're in control
He left, another will come, and so on
Til the true love who makes you happy eternally

Best thing to do is keep your head up high
He was just a scrape in the knee
You fell, now get back up
It will burn and take time to heal
But continue walking forward
And wish for a better tomorrow

Dont be sad that its over
But be joyful that you once got to share
Someday somehwere along the lines
You may encounter him again
and say "I am happy you let me go"

In my movie he sees her after so many years
At a deli, ordering a turkey and cheese sandwich
His stomach churns, his heart beats twice as fast
A sound escapes his mouth, as if something caught his throat
She glances at him, gives him a quick smile
He turns around, starts walking towards the door
She calls out his name to him, a voice he hasn’t heard for so long
He looks over his shoulder, a tear trickles down his cheek
She puts her hand on his shoulder and that’s when he notices
A golden band shining brightly on her finger
The one he should’ve given her
She whispers “I’m sorry” then leaves the deli
He continues to stare even after she’s out of sight
And then he whispers “I still love you”

I met a guy

He was everything I can dream of

When I was with him

Nothing else mattered

He would always brighten my day

And put a smile on my face

For once in my life

I was happy

Then one day

Things turned ugly

When he told me he doesnt love me

He never did

It was all a lie...

all I can do is cry and ask. "WHY?"

He wanted to stay friends

I was still in shock to absorb

One statement I made

Proved that he's a boy not a man

He ran away fearing I'm with his child

and I never heard from him again

My life is shattered

My heart still throbs in pain

No more tears falling

My eyes are dry yet my mind still cries

Feeling like nothing can go right

That I will never find someone

Who truly loves me
