I am warm, I am caring
I am compassionate, I am affectionate
I am giving, I am sharing
I am serious, I am funny
I am happy, I am sad
I am angry, I am glad
I am giddy, I am flirty
I am clean, I am dirty
I am loyal, I am free
I am honest, I am true
I am simply ME, are you You

Behind my eyes, what will you find
Behind my eyes, what's in my heart
Behind my eyes, what's on my mind
Behind my eyes, you will see
Behind my eyes, the fire that rages with in me
Behind my eyes, ever longing to be free
Behind my eyes, all I am
Behind my eyes, all I know
Behind my eyes, window to my soul

Dreams, Shadow and Dust all around me
Dreams, Shadow and Dust is all I see
Dreams, Shadow and Dust must be more in this life for me

As I walk through this world pure emotion never unfurled
While I look through lonely eyes seeing all the scams, all the lies
As down deep the heart doth cries

Dreams, Shadow and Dust all I seem to know
Dreams, Shadow and Dust follow where I go
Dreams, Shadow and Dust ever to grow

True to self I try to stay
As the cage keeps heart mine locked away
Patiently waiting for that one true day

Dreams, Shadow and Dust more their surely has to be
Dreams, Shadow and Dust slowly draining the very life from me
Dreams, Shadow and Dust will I ever truly be free to be me
