Thistle Strewn Pie

Over finely feathered lain lawn were all my insecurities born. A thimble full of how and whys, spaciously spread, along with tear full red-rimmed eyes.

Yesterday has gone, tomorrow can wait. Presently I weep bottom lip trembling as I speak. Cards upon the table of life, off balance and very unstable.

Spinning wheel of exploitation, please stop your rotation of accusations. Spoon full of lies take too the skies. Wishful thinkers remove those blinkers. Over clothed dressers make good your confessions.

No good for my own self worth. Imperfection on a high thermal swept surf. My expectations are on an highway that is seldom being ridden.

Be gone! Current of scorn.

Sad eyes give birth too realise, on an age long humble sky,of a Thistle Strewn Pie.

"Only in Death Do We Part"

"YOU MAY NOW KISS THE BRIDE"....Sweet embrace,lips meet,tongues entwine,bodies trembling chemical-bond assembling.

Remember the day we did first meet,"Orrr, how sweet",introduced by a "DEALER IN THE STREET.

Home ward bound you and I,on our own, secretly alone. Gently unwrapping you all I could do was stare at your full beauty standing there. Slightly tanned and powdery to the touch, how I desired you so much.

On a bed of foil put to lay,a spark was lit as you began to flit, chasing you from side to side I began to slide, into another dimension,"the other side".

Awaking slumped into a chair, pacified without a care,"wow girl you got me there". Out on the town we wined and dined. Dancing, romancing,"oh the fun",I felt the lucky one.

Soon with time we began too argue and has they grew,I just knew,I may of bit off too much to chew. Time I could never keep. My boss soon started fretting,my marching orders was all I was getting.

"Pointing-Finger",sent a letter, couldn't pay my rent. An eviction notice was soon to follow,"the bitterness of the pill",was mine to swallow. A new friend came a calling. He had no face, so was devoid of expression,I solemnly knew it had to be depression.

Dark stealthy alleyways, menace met with spite and all the individuals were far from polite. Prostitute's with emerald eyes, pimp's serving as spies, offerings of Turkish-Delights. AIDS has never felt so at home in this Harem of demise.

Wearing a leather-jacket full of contempt, homeward bound, off I went. Running straight back into your arms and your alluring additive charms. A single tear did appear, running onto my cheek,a scattering of baby offspring left in its wake.

"I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU MAN AND WIFE"....Sweet embrace unfolds, lips depart. Slowly we turn towards the city. Off once again to meet,"THE DEALER IN THE STREET".

"Careless Whispers"

Slander is slander! Have you ever let your tongue wander? Umm,I wonder.
Writing untruths onto paper can be very undesirable, especially when you turn your pen to liable.

The smallest of untrue words can eat and grow, destroying the purest of souls. Lies about another can be passed from one to the other adding or subtracting as they deliver their slack.

Self gratification is all that they seek, lie's spewing from their mouths as soon as they speak. "All this in today's civilization",I beg to question, especially when defamation of character enters the equation.

When as yet you hear of another being slandered,be it a stranger or even your brother, just take the time to ponder of the undue damage it could conjure. Are we capable of doing so? Umm,I wonder!

About this poem:
I went through a very bad experience of lies being spread about me because of someone else's jealousy. When such lies are spread they can stick into the mindset of certain individuals,(usually the narrow minded). I have myself been guilty of half believing rumours. But through this bad experience I have learnt not to take things on face value. I hope my poem will help us as individuals not to take too much notice of rumours, until they are factually proven. Resolve

On a quarrelsome journey through just, maybe or might. A chance meeting with fate was possible but slight.

Fair weathered wanderings, with wise wisdomful whispers. Did a fickle path with a lonesome stream companion, seek directions on their map less satire.

Over siltly deposited stones, destiny has never been so involve with mother-nature. Here are all our indifferences solved.

Generation

On a desolate plain, with no streets and no name,I did see him there. The man with the reptilian-stare.

Drinking primeval-soup from a ladle full scoop. Ancestral dribble etched on his chin, with a napkin of empathy I did move in,steering well clear of his hunger some grin.

High treason within reason! A man was highly strung and spaciously quartered. A piece for all! The quantity of dissection was so small. Those left in his wake were only left for the sake,of their numbers being so askew, but he never knew.

The fumbling of a tumbling jester-satire,on furrow-brow he relentlessly perspired. Challenging his stare he mentally consumed me right there and on a picnic lain lawn,a new epoch was born.
