If I could love, it would be you
If I was not a spectator
If I could walk, talk with you.
Hand in hand
That would be the sweetest dream

An impossible place aspired
A pleasure I can never know
The sweetest kiss
A first step
A direction misaligned
Such a simple thing, so complicated
If I could hold you,
If I could feel the smallest thing
But
Not a need to care
Not a need to repair
But a love

Attraction, in compensation defined
Love a simple need
Love a sacrifice
Love a loss, a compensation great.
