" Desparate Love " by Jonroan

If you loved Me,
You know what I would Do,
Anything you Asked,
Or told me To;
I'd give you my Money,
I'd sing the Blues,
I'd live in a Ditch,
And go without Shoes;
I'd shave your Legs,
And suck your Toes,
Sleep Naked in the Rain,
When the Cold Wind Blows;
I'd scrub your Toilet,
I'd mop your Floors,
And I'd never, Ever,
Fool with those other Whores;
But, most of All,
I'd give you my Heart,
And swear by God,
We would never Part...

About this poem:
I wrote this when an old girlfriend put me out on a snowy night in Arkansas. I showed it to her the next day, after I had thawed out, and she put me out again. I called her a B****, to which she responded, ' Thank you ', just as sweet and sincere as can be. She really was one, by the way.
