So tired of being lonely, and
i'm tired of the number one
i'm tired of spending days alone
and often wish my days were done

But i've held on for this long,
perhaps i will forever more
I'm just so tired of hearing footsteps
and finding no one at my door.

Perhaps some day i'll find a love
and we'll spend our time together
We'll laugh, we'll cry, we'll offer support
sail blue skies or face the bad weather

Life is not meant to spend alone
For each of us there's someone there
It's just the time it takes to search
that makes it hard to bare.
