TELL HER

I don’t want you and her to fight.
Tell her I have made your heart right.
Tell her your heart has been freed
From the cold grip of a hard freeze.

Tell her you don’t want to be alone
When she the nest has flown
to brighter prospects of her own.
We can no longer do this on the phone.

Tell her we have to meet
And take some time to complete
What we have begun;
A love as bright as the sun.

We know it will fade
And go into the shade,
But a love deep as the ocean will grow
When the evening of our love we will know.

Irony

Males are continually droning;
“I don’t have a woman to have and to hold”.
Females are continually complaining;
‘I don’t have a man loving and bold”.
But when it comes to the crunch,
You’ll find a very perplexed bunch.

About this poem:
I wrote this poem when I discovered that most of the people online are actually scared to have a real life committment. They search for someone and when they find that someone they are compatable with, they don't know what to do next or how to cope with the reality.
