Irony

Males are continually droning;
“I don’t have a woman to have and to hold”.
Females are continually complaining;
‘I don’t have a man loving and bold”.
But when it comes to the crunch,
You’ll find a very perplexed bunch.

About this poem:

I wrote this poem when I discovered that most of the people online are actually scared to have a real life committment. They search for someone and when they find that someone they are compatable with, they don't know what to do next or how to cope with the reality.

True intimacy can be quite precarious. Perhaps the best we can do is focus on individually readying ourselves to open to the degree of intimacy we've prepared ourselves for at any given time...
