Windows floors and doors are all I really see
Where once stood a home is just a house to me
I trusted you, you broke my heart
Now love dies before it can start
People wonder why
And I can't even cry

I lay awake just thinking of how I use to be
Trusting and loving came so easily
Not no more you stole it all
And no one was there to catch my fall
You look at me and you wonder why
And I can't even find a tear to cry

You want to take another chance
In hopes that we will find romance
I don't understand how this you say
Please tell what chance you'd take today
Don't wonder why, you made my love die
I buried it with your lie
