long awaits my love far away
laying in her field golden hay
beneath d stars motionless she lay
with a dream stuck, a hope of ray
long awaits my love far away

a soothing breeze, a face in midst
a calm humm, a silent street
a waving goodbye, is all that stay,
long awaits my love far away

an icecream in a chilly rain
a haywired connection in the brain
a day without u, a lost way
long awaits my love far away

ignoring the tears blocking my site
looking upon the moon so bright
a startled heart, with a constant pray,
long awaits my love far away

looking forward the end of this war
fighting to live, body full of scar
wanna enjoy again the time of may
long awaits my love far away

i am coming home, m soldier by heart
u had a chancen but never went apart
u were in my dreams, n u were my day
