The Bastion Hill (Riga) Puzzle

After the Crimea war the Riga Guildhall decided to demolish the defensive dykes around the city, because they haven't already had their military importance. The city fortifications were demolished in 1857. The soil of the defensive dykes was used to make 15 m high artificial hill, which was called Bastion hill.

Yes, you are right, here is channel, which goes throught all the Riga. It is beautiful and you can have boat excursion along the channel.
