longleat maze Puzzle

this maze in near Wales England (hey I am not from England and that;s what the map says) but I thought this would be so fun to get lost in. it's supposed to be one of the largest mazes in the world (or maybe the longest) but either way it's a pretty wild pic I think

I've heard a lot about it,not been in it..You would have to allow plenty of time to find your way back out......(Think it's been used in a few films).....You could always try leaving a bean trail,I suppose...laughInteresting post!... head banger wine

it was hard for me to find out where this pic was taken at (as far as what country it is in) I dont have the foggiest idea about the UK and when I looked at the map on the site...I STILL DIDN'T know lol)
from what I was able to find, they said that the maze only takes most folks under an hour and a half to complete. then they pay over 20 pounds(?) (hey dont laugh we use dollars here and the sign is simple $ lol)

but if you take your spouse and a couple kids, this could be a rather expensive adventure but it would still be a lot of fun to do.

of course if I were to enter that maze I don't think I could ever find my way back out again.

but think of the job security of the folks that keep those hedges trimmed :))

Your comment made me smile....as,Wales is a country..As is England ..Neither is in the other...The longleat Maze,is in the Safari and Adventure Park in Wiltshire in England...This is the property of Lord Bath,a real eccentric character...but he has opened his property to the public...and turned the grounds into a wonferful Safari Park....
...It's an Animals Paradise........

I hope you dont mind me adding them,,but I wanted to show you this video..........It even includes the hedge-cutters....lol........wine bouquet thumbs up

lol....I think my syncope shows through on this one

that video was as entertaining to me as it was to Fred D cat. when that man petted the Rhino my heart skipped a beat.
when they made a comment about how friendly the hippos were I almost choked on my laughter thinking....NOT but they did mention how dangerous they were

when the seals or otters or whatever they were started barking Fred D almost stepped on my laptop to get a better view of where the sound was coming from.

the longleat place reminds me in a way of Hearst castle in CA. It was a home built by newspaper mogul William Hearst. It doesn't have the maze or anything like that but the opulence of the place is what it reminds me of.

I will have to see if I can find some pics of that place and post one.

at least if I ever got the opportunity to go to longleat I will at least speak the same language even if I don't know where I am in the world lol

I can't post a pic until tomorrow in puzzles but I did find this link on hearst castle

that allows "virtual" tours for several locations on the property. you can zoom in and see some of the grandeur Mr Hearst put into the home.

its over 80K feet over space between the main house and the guest houses and over 40 bedrooms. they even offer someone swimming in one of the pools.....for 28K a day (no kidding)

it has really built up to a tourist attraction since I visited it as a kid. it looks out over the pacific ocean and is built high on the hills. there were some incredible parties thrown there too.

so see if you can enjoy the tour and I will make it the next puzzle pic I post :)
