I have made that mistake once at end of night and never repeated it again. Sort a 2nd date after as we have MSN/text and so on to sort that out otherwise your pressuring. Comes across too keen.

keep it comfortable and think past your own nerves, as it is always slightly uncomfortable on the first date. Remember your date is likely just as nervous.
