Commander, Say Hello To Cricket!

It's hard to explain. Perhaps Kristi Noem saw the movie "All Dogs Go To Heaven" and took it as a personal challenge.

On Face the Nation Sunday, there was this exchange regarding the President's dog Commander:

Brennan said: “You’re saying he (Commander) should be shot?”

Noem said: “That what’s the president should be accountable to.”

Taking your secret to the grave...

Last month, Orenthal James Simpson aka O.J. Simpson passed away as a result of prostate cancer. Many people hoped he would clearly admit the killing of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman. Suspicions were he didn't actually do it, but was there when it happened.
He took that secret to the grave.

The prosecution bungled the case and in some way (as in the glove not fitting) O.J. was found not guilty. It was an all or nothing case and they got nothing.

I said this before... all the emphasis was to go after O.J. and they didn't seek other avenues.

Years ago, I read an article that cast suspicion on his son Jason. He was strong enough, had issues with alcohol and drugs, suicidal, anger disorder, history of violent behavior, attacking former girlfriends. Was he there that night when the murders occurred?

O.J. took that secret to the grave...

In the video below, fast forward about 22 minutes and see information about Jason.
Was it possible? I think it was.

Poor, Poor Cricket

Kristi Noem the republican governor of South Dakota is in the news but not in a good way depending on how you feel about dogs. Noem is a strong contender for Trump's VP.

Noem writes that she "hated the dog" as it was "untrainable." The dog was “less than worthless … as a hunting dog”.

“At that moment,” Noem says, “I realized I had to put her down.” So she took Cricket to a gravel pit and took care of it herself. It took two shots. shock

Soaring gas prices

Yesterday a gallon of gas shot up from $3.33 to $3.75. I remember fours years ago back in the spring of 2020 a gallon of gas was under $2.00.

What's the price of a gallon a gas where you're living?

Absolute presidential immunity...

The subject of whether or not if Trump has absolute presidential immunity went to the Supreme Court. They delayed it going on their busy schedule until it got to a critical point of them making a decision. When they got around to discussing the topic, they rendered a decision without making a decision... It's called a delay.
Favoring Trump, the king of delay tactics, gets a delay. Their inability to show some cojónes gave him what he needs. So there is a chance it will be (conveniently) scheduled after the election. He gets what he wants and their hands aren't dirty.

One reader comment on the subject of immunity, made an important observation:
The Supreme Court has lost their integrity.

The hush money trial is set to resume...

The hush money trial is set to resume shortly after the judge decides what to do about Trump's inability to follow the instructions of his gag order.

From the handful of stories I've read the majority of reader comments say he should be treated like any other person. Fines or jail time.

Bullets in your baggage...

Years ago, there were stories about Americans vacationing in Philippines who were detained by airport security when a single bullet was found in a coat pocket. Arrested and forced to pay fines to be released from jail. The 'bullet-planting' scandal was eventually resolved by investigation.
Twice this month, I've seen stories about Americans with bullets in their luggage. They were detected in a foreign country while on vacation. Security there isn't lenient in the least. Prison and huge fines. One guy is facing a 12-year sentence.

No guns... only a few bullets that (he said) wasn't cleaned out of his luggage before going on a trip.

Some reader comments did ask the question as to why the bullets weren't found by security scanning BEFORE they left the US?

Bullets in your baggage... Don't leave home with them!
