JMO but I think the more money someone has the more selfish they become.
There were times when my late hubby and I had plenty of money and times when things were pretty lean.
He and I got our money from working hard and watching where every penny went.We didn't believe in credit and paid cash for everything we bought a vehicle.
When our son was little we were homeless a couple times because my hubby's employers didn't pay their taxes and had to sleep in shelter homes or our car.Made us appreciate what we had even more.

I disagree to an extent. Love makes the world go round, That is what I say. Thus I do like your idea, a very good debate. Money, OIE ! It certainly is the reason we seem to live for thus, it seems to always work out, when I think omg what am I going to do. It works out. Sooo. Yes, No Maybe. I say lets stick with LOVE : )
