RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

I have the news on the latest and Obama just okayed 200,000 thousands to be processed soon.

But Philippines? Are you kidding? No one wants to go there. Are they?

See Life, this is not a matter of choice, it is a matter of being sensible to all the needs of everyone, host country and the ones seeking refuge.

Practical solutions should be the utmost concerns we focus on right now. Just because you are full of kindness and compassion, you can't take and help what is not within your resources to extend, right? So for me, those who are not truly refugees, they didn't have any business rushing onto the open gates and obstruct the real ones who need them.

the right to bear arms

You are right Life. I think sometimes that it would have been better if we didn't identify ourselves with any religious affiliations. But think of it this way. Humans do need it. The sense of belonging, but don't practice anything that harms others because of belief. Don't you think?sad flower sad flower

solutions for handling the migration crisis

I have been always a Democrat during the times of Kennedy Moose. Just recently I am considering on changing my party because of so much inconsistencies going on in that party. I would have loved to endorse Hillary and they are still begging me to maintain my loyalty, but lately, I might just consider Trump. Not quite settled yet as to who will get my vote.

solutions for handling the migration crisis

It sounds as bad as it is Moose, but Kaet just posted a thread that states that: Islam doesn't belong in Germany and the refugees, say: Germany is not for Islam, so which one is it? You are the refugees, you don't tolerate the religion that prevails in this host country, but you allow them to practice intolerance?

You have to make up your mind Moose. Frankly this is the biggest challenge they have right now and it comes down to about religion again.

Here is what I will say to you, stop qualifying the religion as a variable that can't be solved. There has to be a meeting point, don't you agree? Read Kaet's post. Respond to it, will you>?

solutions for handling the migration crisis

Kaet, we do have an acute problem.

Yes I do staff thousands to process their papers. Determine who is not a refugee and send them back.

If they stay and qualify, yes, get them approve first. Those islam religious must not insist on their religious practices that us not acceptable to the Christians.

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

Now that is a solution that I just might strongly support Kaet. Question, will they go?

Life, would you take all these millions of them? Europe will help all the true refugees. And you take all the rest. Let me hear it from you. You now act the President and decide on this. Would you?

solutions for handling the migration crisis

Well do I hear that majority of the people are not represented anymore? and so whatever we propose or feel doesn't count?

Is that why Merkel opened her gate in the first place?

I don't want to stop thinking until someone do something that would be agreeable and tolerated by the majority. In other words, we stop the migration. Create a camp. Put them all there. then what?

I think my immediate solution proposal is to create a border. Make sure that these economic migrants are discouraged to cross. Let them get the message that Europe is not open for them to just go and settle. Maybe?

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

I think all these incidents Kaet are happening because of failure to direct and create a better solution for them.

the right to bear arms

Yes it was more of an execution. He was an officer and got ambushed while trying to check out the situation. The southern part of the PI is now a haven for terrorist training by the Talibans, and it is not safe being there. It was always about religion. They want the whole of the Philippines to be Islam, but in 1365 the Spaniards came and changed all that. Philippines is now majority of Christian except in that part.

That was a long time ago.

Brian, I really would love to hear from you as a direct response to what is going to be done now. Not tomorrow, not in the next week, now.

solutions for handling the migration crisis

String, now let us say we all agree on stopping the migration. Regardless of how the brainless leaders feel, how and where would we start?

Income disparity

Ocee, thanks for the illustration. We can definitely see that trend happening in the general population. In my doctoral degree class here in the US, there is about 25 of us women, and only about 7 men. In the field of School Administration. I am majoring in Developing changes in the curriculum for graduate programs. I am on break for a while.

But of course even in my family, it is the same like you. And so was my ex husband family. Nowadays, I can see how women are climbing into the field of management levels where it was so rare 30 years or so ago.

Well can we go back and work on it? I mean from here, where will we get the resources to make it sustainable?

I would definitely support the refugee camp and then figure out how to make it workable for all the refugees.

solutions for handling the migration crisis

String, I will look at it later but for right now, we all know what is going on at the moment.

I will definitely want to hear on both side of the fence, what can we do right now, considering all the facts in our hands.

Thanks.

solutions for handling the migration crisis

Moose, what a very crucial point you expressed on here. I do apologize. Of course, change is important, but something that will not wipe out Europe completely with all its glory. I would have to consider assimilation without resistance. Kind of like America (US) right now.

My point is that: Here we are with a very difficult situation. So many migrants are getting into Europe and we all know by now that they are not all refugees. If there is any, it is a very percentage. There is a dominant religious ways of life and culture coming in, which to my knowledge are very intolerant to other religion. Considering all these variables, what do we have to do now?

solutions for handling the migration crisis

Okay it makes sense, what I meant is that without wiping Europe completely, I mean assimilation that best suits and maintain Europe.
And yes change will have to take place but not as radical as dominated by one religion.

Appreciate your input CC. Well with my ex husband, it was never an issue. But I do know some friends who were never happy because of it.wave

solutions for handling the migration crisis

This thread only wants to discuss and focus on how this crises can be solved:

Suggestions as to how it can be fixed without being inhuman and yet without having to lose Europe as it is.

NO MORE BLAIMING WHO STARTED IT, NO MORE WHO IS WRONG OR RIGHT..Just plain, what would you recommend to do right now, considering what is going on?

Anyone?

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

And by the way on the latest, the border in Slovenia is opened and allowed some 200,000 people to cross going to Austria? I emailed my newspaper yesterday. I think it is more of a pity because the migrants were soaked in water and needed badly some assistance.

It is a fact that they will never understand, is that, there is a limit as to what Europe can take and if it keeps going, there is nothing to sustain them and then what?

Anyways.. solution should be what we focus on as this plight is getting messier and very difficult to you guys and the whole of Europe.

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

Kaet be careful, I was scolded for making that statement and a rude lady who claims I am insulting everyone, insulted me more on her mails to me and said in my thread, that, that Mexican lady has a name....

I was not going to join this discussion anymore because no matter how we present our views, these bozos will never understand...

For a woman to make more money than a man, is this a downside in a relationship? Or is it the money? Or pride?

Yep the arrogance is my top of my list. But I accepted that we are all different, we didn't ask ourselves to born as ordered. However, I do believe we can learn, to change, for the better. But I wish you luck and hopefully, you can avoid these holders of such a trait.
