THERE IS NARCISSISM IN THE FACE BOOK OR THE MADMAN OF THE VILLAGE LIVE?

According to the Greek mythology Narcissus fell in love with his own image reflected in a pool of water . So Narcissism in layman terms basically means that a person is totally absorbed in oneself.
In recent years many people sign in social media such as Face Book, Twitter etc. A lot of selfies are uploaded everyday in the social web. It could be said that someone creates a personal gallery.
Narcissism has outbroken as an epidemic. It is sometimes as a revenge of the ordinary people who copy the life of the stars. It has always been breaking news that Madona is in a restaurant. Now we have become a kind of paparachi of our own image.
For some people is very important how many “likes” they receive. They wake up in the morning and before they go to the toilet they open Face Book to see how many risen thumbs they will see. If this movement of the hand was by the wrong finger it would cause a misunderstanding.
The mood of some people depends on how many risen thumbs they will see in the screen of p.c
Someone writes “I m hungy” , “I m thirsty” etc and above we can see “like”.
All these mean that a lot of us who enter Face Book uploading photos or describing personal situations are Narcissist or we are something like that said by Uberto Eco: “the madman of the village live?.
Yes we are Narcissist but a certain amount of Narcissism is healthy. It is what we call “normal “ or healthy Narcissism.
