Today is a nice brisk day in Cork got a text lastnight , the father's first cousin's wife has died. She has been sick for awhile she got her wish to be there and see her two daughters getting married. So it puts me thinking, I gave a walk up the road last week and went in and had a look at a TKD martial arts class. There and then, I decided to myself that's my new goal to get fit and this class will motivate me to do it. The instructor will push me to my limit, as I use the same excuse as everybody else I will start tomorrow luckily for me I have done TKD before and I was flying fit wondering now why did I give it up brainwashed at work that you had to stay on and get the job done everynight during the boom, unemployed now this is my fourth year thank god I got off my a**, went back to college and learnt about computers.Next week will be my last week on work experience back on the welfare again this will be my new goal trying to get fit and ideally to lose about three stone if I could so I can be healthier. The morale here is that four years ago I couldn't turn on a computer last year one of my modules was maths, I have been embarassed to tell people that I failed maths in school, but I got a distinction in it last year considering it was 1989 when I did my leaving cert, so people that are reading this blog just as the person said long ago when you fall off of the horse have the guts to get back on the saddle again and ride that horse. Life will throw all these obstacles in front of you but have the character to do something new, or go back and do something that you like as with me I failed my black tip that's my new goal to get a black belt, and always remember when bruce lee was entering in his first tournament he was asked where was his black belt his answer was simple you use a belt to hold up your pants as the NIKE add says just do it all the best hopefully people will get out and get back doing whatever they like.
Usually a lazy day but today I did a few things first went to mass which was in gaelic as the saying goes is breá gaeilge bríste na bearla cliste after that relaxed walked around Cork doing a small bit of window shopping made a fine roast chicken dinner and just after finishing watching a james bond film so a nice relaxing day unfortunately the weather is dull wet and cold so to fellow bloggers another start tomorrow to another eventful week enjoy
