to blog or not to blog... thats the question
A few months ago, I felt as if i had a few ideas to share with the world. Blogs seemed like a perfect way of doing that. Little did i realise how jealousy, and even hatred from some would be so strong.
I've asked myself these last few days, why did i start blogging? Why would i keep blogging? Why is this place so important to me?

question 1 was pretty easy to answer, I started because i have an opinion, about everything. I also have the ability to bring a new view to many topics. Not the kind of topics i've seen here so far.. but I did some alternative topics myself in the past. So might start doing those kind of stories again.
other then that i have the knowledge to read reports and studies, I know how to do research on whatever subject that would require it.. So could be helpful in debates. Debates that don't happen here either. Not anymore at least since the last debate i was in showed people don't know how to take defeat and only hold grudges because i point out their mistakes.

Question 2.. I could continue because i still got allot of things on my mind. But would Cs be the right platform to do such topics??

Question 3. We got allot of wonderful people here. I made some wonderful friends here, and i respect allot of other nice people. However allot of nice interesting people limit themselves to reading only. Making it that nasty old fashioned, sometimes even caveman, seem to be holding the upperhand on these blogs. The kind of people that lack the knowledge, or seriousness to carry a good conversation or debate. Thats a sad thing because I love good debates and critisism. But it would need a clear arguementation, and at least some basic knowledge. Something i can't find in the punks and drunks that hang out here lately.

What is the point for me to keep blogging here then? Not sure yet, But i know i don't want to give up just because of some fools. So i guess i'll just blog and keep my comments closed for the time being. and who knows what the future might bring.

My response.

Lets see what we have here shall we.

A blogger who allows no comments yet accuses people of petty jealousies and even hatred.Pretty strong opinion you have of others.dunno

First and foremost you want debate, because you have an opinion. Well so do many others given the opportunity.Unfortunately many good debaters are no longer here .Wonder why!

Why would you consider that people cannot accept defeat. There are no winners and losers in debate, just people expressing an opinion that might differ from your own. Your comments make you sound extremely self opinionated and confrontational.

As to whether you will continue to blog is entirely up to you and if they are interesting to others I'm sure they will join in.

As for you last comment, name calling other bloggers for their lighthearted approach is totally out of order. You once pointed out to me that the blogs were here for everyone and anyone to join in,so just what IS your problem with others just having fun.

With this high minded attitude it's highly unlikely any one would want to comment in your blogs, which do have a tendency to cause sleepiness, as there are overtly long winded.j.m.o.

Saving the World!

In the year 2012, the Lord came unto Noah, who was now living in America and said:"Once again, the earth has become wicked and over-populated, and I see the end of all flesh before me."

"Build another Ark and save 2 of every living thing along with a few good humans."
He gave Noah the blueprints, saying:"You have 6 months to build the Ark before I will start the unending rain for 40 days and 40 nights.”

Six months later, the Lord looked down and saw Noah weeping in his yard - but no Ark.
"Noah!," He roared, "I'm about to start the rain! Where is the Ark?"

"Forgive me, Lord," begged Noah,"but things have changed.”

"I needed a Building Permit."

"I've been arguing with the Boat Inspector about the need for a sprinkler system."

"My neighbours claim that I've violated the neighbourhood by-laws by building the Ark in my back yard and exceeding the height limitations. We had to go to the local Planning Committee for a decision."

"Then the local Council and the Electricity Company demanded a load of money for the future costs of moving power lines and other overhead obstructions, to clear the passage for the Ark's move to the sea.I told them that the sea would be coming to us,
but they would hear none of it."

"Getting the wood was another problem. There's a ban on cutting local trees in order to save the Greater Spotted Barn Owl. I tried to convince the environmentalists that I needed the wood to save the owls - but no go!"

"When I started gathering the animals the ASPCA took me to court. They insisted that I was confining wild animals against their will. They argued the accommodations were too restrictive, and it was cruel and inhumane to put so many animals in a confined space."

"Then the Environmental Agency ruled that I couldn't build the Ark until they'd conducted an environmental impact study on your proposed flood."

"I'm still trying to resolve a complaint with the Human Rights Commission on how many minorities I'm supposed to hire for my building crew."

"The Immigration Dept. is checking the visa status of most of the people who want to work."

"The trade unions say I can't use my sons. They insist I have to hire only Union workers with Ark-building experience."

"To make matters worse, the IRS seized all my assets, claiming I'm trying to leave the country illegally with endangered species."

"So, forgive me, Lord, but it would take at least 10 years for me to finish this Ark."

Suddenly the skies cleared, the sun began to shine, and a rainbow stretched across the sky.

Noah looked up in wonder and asked, "You mean you're not going to destroy the world?”

"No," said the Lord. " The Government beat me to it."doh

Declarations of love.

I posted this on someone's blog but thought it might be worth making my own blog on the subject,so here goes.

I watched the Forums and blogs for a long while before I decided to sign up. When you are not involved so to speak you see things from a different perspective, and I have watched with curiosity, and some amusement I might add ,people make declarations of love, both here and in the Forums.

Now while I might be optimistic of people's hopes and dreams, I have to say I am pessimistic when neither of the party's concerned have actually met!

I've seen couples loved up so to speak only to end up falling out in a very public area, which is not only hurtful to them, but embarrassing for those having to stand by and watch one person's hopes and dreams be smashed.

As this site introduces people from so many different walks of life it would be foolish,in my humble opinion, to shout to the World " I love him/her and want to spend my life with them" when the probabilities say different.

How do we know that we love someone just by an internet connection? It's an emotion that takes us over and sweeps us along, and of course everyone joins in this very public display.

I'm sure that there are many on here that have been in love with the idea of being in love, but some need to take a reality check, as they are toying with people's emotions ,and at times someone is going to get hurt.

We all need to stop and think sometimes that this is not the real world, and outside of here there is a completely different place that is called reality.

I say good luck to anyone that actually does have the possibilities of making that special connection, but until they meet and confirm their feelings, keep it to yourselves. j.m.o

In addition to my blog I would also question why someone would get their children involved in their online connections.

It's ok for you to "fall in love" as the adult in the situation, but what if you have kids?

They have presumably been through the trauma of parents splitting up. Don't you think it unfair to expect them to accept a complete stranger ,be taken out of a family environment and moved to a strange country with different cultures ,language ,food etc.

Just a thought!

Wouldn't like to explain this ,would you!

I know this is on the blog section but wanted to give you all a laugh.

Feel free to leave your own blunders .laugh

A young man called Chris from London wanted to buy a Christmas present for his new girlfriend.

They hadn't been seeing each other for very long, and she lived in Scotland .

Chris consulted with his sister and decided, after careful consideration, that a pair of good quality gloves would strike the right note... not too romantic and not too personal.

Off he went with his sister to Harrods and they selected a dainty pair of fur lined quality leather gloves. His sister bought a pair of sexy knickers for herself at the same time.

Harrods had a free gift wrap offer but the assistant mixed up the two items, the sister got the gloves and Chris unknowingly got the knickers.

Good old Chris sent off his gift wrapped present in a parcel with the following letter.

Dear Maggie,

I chose these because I've noticed that you are not wearing any when we go out in the evenings. If it had not been for my sister I would have chosen the long ones with buttons, but she wears shorter ones (which are easier to remove).

These are a very delicate shade, but the lady I bought them from showed me the pair she had been wearing for the past three weeks and I hardly noticed any marks.

I had her try yours on for me and she looked really smart in them even though they were a little bit tight on her. She also said that they rub against her ring which helps keep it clean. In fact she hasn't needed to wash it since she began wearing them.

I wish I was there to put them on for you the first time, as no doubt many other hands will touch them before I have a chance to see you again.

When you take them off remember to blow into them a little bit because they will be naturally a little damp from wearing.

Just imagine how many times my lips will kiss them during the coming year.

I hope you will wear them for me on our next date.

All my love,

Chris

P.S. My mum tells me that the latest style is to wear them folded down with a little bit of fur showing.
