In response to "To blog or not to blog"
to blog or not to blog... thats the questionA few months ago, I felt as if i had a few ideas to share with the world. Blogs seemed like a perfect way of doing that. Little did i realise how jealousy, and even hatred from some would be so strong.
I've asked myself these last few days, why did i start blogging? Why would i keep blogging? Why is this place so important to me?
question 1 was pretty easy to answer, I started because i have an opinion, about everything. I also have the ability to bring a new view to many topics. Not the kind of topics i've seen here so far.. but I did some alternative topics myself in the past. So might start doing those kind of stories again.
other then that i have the knowledge to read reports and studies, I know how to do research on whatever subject that would require it.. So could be helpful in debates. Debates that don't happen here either.Not anymore at least since the last debate i was in showed people don't know how to take defeat and only hold grudges because i point out their mistakes.
Question 2.. I could continue because i still got allot of things on my mind. But would Cs be the right platform to do such topics??
Question 3. We got allot of wonderful people here. I made some wonderful friends here, and i respect allot of other nice people. However allot of nice interesting people limit themselves to reading only. Making it that nasty old fashioned, sometimes even caveman, seem to be holding the upperhand on these blogs. The kind of people that lack the knowledge, or seriousness to carry a good conversation or debate. Thats a sad thing because I love good debates and critisism. But it would need a clear arguementation, and at least some basic knowledge. Something i can't find in the punks and drunks that hang out here lately.
What is the point for me to keep blogging here then? Not sure yet, But i know i don't want to give up just because of some fools. So i guess i'll just blog and keep my comments closed for the time being. and who knows what the future might bring.

A blogger who allows no comments yet accuses people of petty jealousies and even hatred.Pretty strong opinion you have of others.
First and foremost you want debate,because you have an opinion. Well so do many others given the opportunity.Unfortunately many good debaters are no longer here .Wonder why!
Why would you consider that people cannot accept defeat. There are no winners and losers in debate, just people expressing an opinion that might differ from your own. Your comments make you sound extremely self opinionated and confrontational.
As to whether you will continue to blog is entirely up to you and if they are interesting to others I'm sure they will join in.
As for you last comment,name calling other bloggers for their lighthearted approach is totally out of order.You once pointed out to me that the blogs were here for everyone and anyone to join in,so just what IS your problem with others just having fun.
With this high minded attitude it's highly unlikely any one would want to comment in your blogs, which do have a tendency to cause sleepiness, as there are overtly long winded.j.m.o.

They are more or less the same basically, though a debate is usually about one particular subject.

His jealousy chased people away of the Blogs. He was easily pointing out mistakes on others while he couldn't take being pointed out on his mistakes. He was also easily claiming one is fake or one is not too seriously
Just heard that it used to be great here, but too many temper tantrums got in the way.
Surely there is room enough for everyone.
No problem, I will never cover my dislike for him anyway. Too bad fun has gone off the Blogs since he came up here
I have not mentioned anywhere, any reference, to people who have been banned. Before my time and not for me to comment.
I refer to people who have, and are ,leaving through choice. This is a sad fact of which you surely must be aware,as it's still ongoing.
As for the blogs being a great place,there are still some good people here ,but with comments about drunks and punks ,and lack of knowledge,it doesn't exactly give encouragement for people to post now does it. j.m.o.
The past is just that.Time to move on and get some perspective on how to make things better.
Merely my observation on a blog which did not allow comments,and my response.
People are free to post whatever they choose,but would prefer to keep it peaceful.

As I have said the past is the past, and dragging it up on here is not what this blog is about.
It's about encouraging people to join in and participate. Some comments about the way others behave now ,is unacceptable ,in my opinion. I'm sure with a little intelligence it's quite easy to chose blogs that are purely for fun ,and others that have some depth.
The choice of where you post is up to you.

With regards your above comment I watched for many months before I joined. Saw it all with my own eyes.
Unlike the Forums people have control over what others post in the Blogs. That's what the edit button is for.

No-one here to my knowledge is privileged,except for the fact that he/she can converse with others from across the globe.
All we should ask of each other is that we treat another poster with respect.
Some people in life put their mouth in gear before their brain. On here it's usually their hands .
I have received mail from someone I respect, who has shed some light on past events.
That being said I still believe that we can move on from past events,ignore the rebel rousers and enjoy good company.
