My newest nephew was born this morning!
He is finally here!
In January this year my one and only God-daughter to be was born!
So I have Two new babies in my life!!! Babies are so sweet.. I love babies.
Life is good! Just wanted to share my joy!!

One of my favorite movies of all time is a British comedy called Love Actually. It is about all the different types of love.
The essence of this movie is Love.
If you haven't seen it, I recommend it as a must see.

The most surprising gift of last year was my new love. An amazing man who captured my heart. Last Easter I joined this site when I discovered poetry Corner and that is where I first went every time I logged on. I made some great friends there and then I discovered the blogs. I made some great friends here also although I will admit when I saw all the fighting I almost left but Teddy and Ed encouraged me to stay. Life is really too short to be bickering over incidentals especially online.
I always try to be upbeat and positive as I am a firm believer in the fact that sometimes one kind or positive word can brighten or make a difference in someone's life.
As we start this new year I am very grateful for all the new friends I met here and I say thank you all for being my friends.
As the year progress my time online will most likely be less as it will be divided into work and my new love.
I will still continue to try to stop by occasionally and comment if I can.
I wasn't looking for love as I have stated on my profile but love found me.
It has really been an unexpected surprise.

A belated Happy new year to you and a warm welcome to 2014. I have been busy but I still tried to peek at the blogs to see what is going on.
As the new year is now on its 10th day, we hopefully should be a bit more settled now into a routine.

To those still searching, good luck and don't despair.... I wasn't looking and found the love of my life.

My favourite holiday of the year is here and I am happy today.
My training sessions at the office has been completed (finally) and I can now catch up on my regular work.
My new boyfriend and I are getting along fabulously and things are looking great.
My family and my friends are fine... one friend is having a baby soon. Yippee.
I am HAPPY.
I am passing on some of my positive vibes to you all.

On the first day, God created the dog and said, sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks past. For this I will give you a life span of twenty years.
The dog said, "That's a long time to be barking. How about only ten years and I'll give you back the other ten?"
And God said that it was good.
On the second day, God created the monkey and said, "Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. For this, I'll give you a twenty-year life span."
The monkey said, "Monkey tricks for twenty years?
That's a pretty long time to perform. How about I give you back ten like the dog did?"
And God again said that it was good.
On the third day, God created the cow and said, "You must go into the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the sun, have calves and give milk to support the farmer's family. For this, I will give you a life span of sixty years."
The cow said, "That's kind of a tough life you want me to live for sixty years. How about twenty and I'll give back the other forty?"
On the fourth day, God created humans and said, "Eat, sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life. For this, I'll give you twenty years."
But the human said, "Only twenty years? Could you possibly give me my twenty, the forty the cow gave back, the ten the monkey gave back, and the ten the dog gave back; that makes eighty, okay?"
"Okay," said God, "You asked for it."
So that is why for our first twenty years, we eat, sleep, play and enjoy ourselves. For the next forty years, we slave in the sun to support our family. For the next ten years, we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren. And for the last ten years, we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone.
Life has now been explained to you.
