(The excellency of power represents the guerrilla style of fighting that the Tribe of Reuben fought with. Even Juan Ponce De Leon could not defeat the Seminoles in Florida. Ponce De Leon was a Spanish explorer who sailed with Christopher Columbus to help rob the new found land of all its gold. He became Governor of Puerto Rico and he gave the state of Florida its name (which means flowery land. But he was unable to conquer Florida and turn it into Spanish State. Juan Ponce De Leon and his army of Conquest Adores landed on the Western peninsula of Florida where he was soon Attacked and wounded by the Calusa Seminoles.)

"In February 1521, Ponce de León left Puerto Rico for a second exploration of Florida. Records are scarce, but some accounts describe a poorly organized trip.
The expedition landed somewhere on the western side of the Florida peninsula, where it was soon attacked by Calusa warriors. Ponce de León was wounded in the confrontation, possibly by a poison arrow to his thigh. The expedition sailed back to Cuba, where he died in July 1521."

(When this verse mentions that Reuben would be unstable like water. It represents how the Tribe of Reuben would be a constant migrating Tribe. The Tribe of Reuben migrated and established land from South America all the way to Oklahoma and some parts of Australia. Here is the definition of the word unstable.)

The development of the Southern states disrupted the boundaries of all native American groups in the region. In the mid-1700's Creeks, predominately of the Hitchiti-speaking Oconee tribe, left Western Georgia and moved southward to the Gainesville prairies.
Perhaps they were adventurous young Indians since SEMINOLE MEANS "RUNAWAY" OR "WILD".More likely they were groups of Indians who found Spanish Florida a safe refuge from the onslaught of white settlements.
