quick glimpse of my weekend....

head banger with plans or not my weekends are always busy wink the past one could not be the exception ...It was San Pedro Sula´s anniversary on the 29th, we call it Feria Juniana, we were celebrating our 476 birthday cheering so the city prepares a small parade and ends the fair with a carnival with concerts in all the streets, I did not stayed for the concerts as I had already planned going to the movies, but I took my niece to the parade and it was very nice, here are some pics:

Then I went to the movies with my sister and my brother in law and had a blast...

Sunday of course I had to go out again after cooking some hamburgers (Honduran style) to watch the finals of the Euro Cup 2012 in which Italy lost :( , me and my friends decided to go to Puerto Cortés and enjoy the sunset and the breeze and one of them had some conch soup:

When I came back home I watched a movie with my family called the Red Tails, which I highly recommend, it is based in a true story about color pilots from USA in the Second War World times, good flick... I hope all of you had a nice weekend, who knows what I will do the next one but something I am sure

Wonderful weekend...

I had to do some work at the Utila Island and after I was done I took some time to enjoy a bit of tranquility and without planning it my weekend turned out to be perfect, here are some pics of it

Being a gentleman...

Someone once said "A gentleman is a man who helps women to feel completely at ease around him, allows them to relax in his presence, and does small things to make women's lives easier that he's able to accomplish without inconveniencing himself or appearing tryhard. A man who inspires women to feel a degree of comfort they feel with few other people".

I would add to this that for me a gentleman is a man that appreciates/admires women and usually tends to provoke a warm smile on our faces, so today I feel like thanking men for making the right choice by being gentlemen applause

Once...

Once there was a girl.....and she was unique and talented and interesting and amazing and unforgettable...and real. And she knew, deep down, that if she tried something and things didn't go as she had hoped or wanted or dreamed or planned, she could just try something different or try the exact same thing again but approach it in a new or different way. Then, one day, her greatest hopes and dreams actually became true.


And so her life was full of all these amazing and unforgettable moments and events and circumstances: incredible wins, of course, but also equally incredible - and worth it - losses. Because no matter what happened, she learned from everything around her and everything she went through. Yes, she fell sometimes (like everybody else does), but she got up and moved forward by always being true to herself. And maybe one day she will even make a path for others to follow... until they can make their own paths, too.

You see, it's not that she was never frightened or sad or even knew when she woke up each day what to do (no one does). It was simply that she believed in herself and always shined on like a star.
