Are you a victim of your past?
Do you fear the exact same thing will happen again?
And again?
Fear of failure?
Fear of throwing caution to the wind and just going for it?
Some bruises can cement themselves into the back of your brain.
Paticularly those with disasterous consequences.
Disasterous in that, your self-esteem & self-worth are battered almost beyond repair.
I’ve had to do some serious self-analysis over the years, and I’ve made some
HUGE ...
MASSIVE steps forward.
Today I consider myself a completely different ... shiny/sparkling BRAND NEW woman & know I’ve come a long, long way from yesterday.
... and I know that whatever happens today ... tomorrow or the next day ... will have
NOTHING at all to do with what happened yesterday.
Yesterday is gone.
The slate is clean.
Yeah, sure ... I’m all for “each to their own” ... and all of that *freedom to do what u wanna do* kinda stuff ...
but some people just go nuts ... I mean seriously ...
... would you do THIS to yourself??OMG!(This guy calls himself "Stalking cat" (Dennis_Avner ... google him to read his story) )
.... Some people clearly seem to think life is like the movies ...
Surely anyone of average intelligence is aware that the "can't stop thinking of each other" stage doesn't last ... (?)
... the buzz at the very beginning eventually fizzles out ...
Familiarity walks in the door and before long, routine sets in ...
Everyday life takes over .. and pretty soon cracks will appear ...
Nothing in life is perfect ... relationships .. people ... are flawed ...
Sure the cracks can be smoothed over ... it's all a matter of compromise & hard work ...
But be realistic in what you search for, so that disappointment doesn't bite you on the arse ...
Take off the rose coloured glasses & keep it REAL.
Life is a tough place & happily ever afters aren't guaranteed.
Once the rug of trust has been pulled out from under you ... it’s not an easy road back ...
In my experience, people tend to crap on simply for their own benefit ... whatever works ... whatever gets the job done ... whatever lets them get away with it ...
These days I’m very wary of whatever comes out of anyone’s mouth ... male or female ...
I’ve caught so many people out ... (telling me garbage) ... that I’m not about to trust anyone anymore ...
And yeah, guys have let me down ...
BIG TIME ... and you know what I think?
I think CAUTION is the key word ... Keep your eyes and ears wide open ... and never let your guard down ...
That way, you don’t get hurt and you’re not made a fool of ...
... truth of the matter is, you need to
LOVE yourself first. Ah huh.
You need to radiate:*This is ME ... and i'm FABULOUS ... COME & GET ME!*
Body and soul need to come together, both emotionally and physically ... be as one.Self-confidence will always be your biggest asset.Negativity after a failed relationship can really burst your self esteem bubble.
Best way to get back on track, is to take a good hard look at what you see in the mirror.
Not altogether thrilled? Do something about it. Get off your butt and get into some sort of exercise routine.
Get your hair done, your nails done ... some retail therapy ... whatever it may be ... to lift your spirits.
Let the world know you have arrived ... and you’re ready for anything that comes your way ...
WoOO!Hooo!
You go girl!
... a friend of mine got some bad news over the weekend ... and that exact same news is in fact, a daily occurrence ... all over the world.
I truly believe prevention is better than cure ...
Can u imagine the devastation you would feel if u were told you only had a year to live (at the very most)?
... and this diagnosis was due
ENTIRELY to your self-neglect? Your lifestyle? Your habits?
In simple terms: Self inflicted.... Unfortunately it's not possible to wind the clock back to when you had a healthy heart .. healthy lungs ... liver ... or kidneys ...
... Once it's too late ... it's just too late. End of story.
You have the perfect opportunity
TODAY ... to prevent that diagnosis ...
BEFORE it’s too late.
Reinvent yourself. Discover a healthy lifestyle & live a longer life.I did.
It wasn’t easy, but nothing worthwhile ever is.
Ask yourself this: "Would you rather your family ... your kids ... look at photos of you or
YOU in person?"
Your destiny is in your hands.
... and the choice is yours.
Don’t ya luv it when u walk into a cubicle and there it is ... floatin’ around, doing laps?
Eeeew! So you flush, but the little shit refuses to budge? It’s
STILL there, back-stroking it’s way around the bowl, happy as Larry, wearin’ a huge shit-eatin’ grin ...
So you have no choice but do your business regardless ...
After you’re done, you flush again, but no ... it’s
STILL THERE ... bobbing around ...
Aaaargh!... then to make things even worse, you open the cubicle door to leave, only to discover there’s a queue outside & you know they’re gonna assume that little shit is
YOURS!YIKES!Don’t ya just hate that?
When ur young & foolish ... you think you're bullet proof & 10 foot tall .... not a worry in the world ... fearless in fact ... try anything twice just for the hell of it ...
These days I'm far more aware ... far more in tune with what's
RIGHT and what's
WRONG ...
... and in particular, how dodgy life can be ...
... here one minute .. gone the next ... my own father in fact, died exactly like that ... heart attack ... pfffffffft! gone in an instant ...
Good health, well being & fitness is the very ultimate for me & something i'm truly passionate about. It's also the only thing you have to sustain your life & safeguard you from disease.
One thing I
NEVER, EVER do ... is take this life i have for granted.
It's unfortunate so many fail to see the forest for the trees & continue to over-eat, smoke, drink & abuse their health.
Wake up people, life is far too precious to just throw it away.
My motivation is simple ...
I WANNA LIVE ....I want to complete the cycle of life ... not throw the towel in half way through ..
I intend to enjoy my future grand children ... even see them get married ...
... these are my goals ... my focus ... my motivation ... my drive ...
Find yours.Life is definitely worth it.
... ya know what makes me laugh the most in here? Guys who don’t check over what they’ve typed ...
I guess if you’re battling along with 2 fingers, endlessly searching the keyboard for your next letter ... it gets frustrating, and just a tad tiresome ...
I would assume (on the average) a decent sized sentence would take the average guy anything up to 10 minutes to knock over ... ya think?
Surely after such a mammoth task/achievement, one would glance proudly over the written word, just to make sure there aren’t any serious typos?
Apparently not.
Me thinks you should perhaps reconsider ...
The thing is … a great number of you have typed *GAY* instead of GUY!Oooops!
